- I have spoken to Heather today. She has checked a local nursery, that has lakes & ponds. She has also contacted the local daffodil farm (Scrimshaw), as they have lots of pickers around. Their buildings have also been checked. At the moment she has plenty of local helpers & will contact me should she need any further help (which would be if there is a confirmed sighting). She thanks everyone for their help so far.

- No as yet I have not spoken to owners. I did try to call but no answer and then got tied up with another dog. I can give them a call to see if we can help. Presumably again confusion with us and K9search.Last edited: 2015-02-05 20:47:28 by Jenny & Tiga k9tracker

- I have spoken to Heather about some info I had from a reliable person, who has in the past had positive intuition about a missing dog, which helped find it.
She feels that Megan has taken shelter in a box of some sort & cannot be seen or heard & may not be able to get out.
If anyone is searching for Megan, PLEASE RE-CHECK OUTBUILDINGS/GARDEN SHEDS, or ANYTHING WHICH FITS DESCRIPTION.

Moogie, I will speak to Glendurgan in the morning re your post. - 2015-02-04 08:56 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Just seen this on Facebook. Worth contacting: If somebody contacts the National Trust property office at Glendurgan they'll alert the ranger team who will look out for Megan when they're doing their rounds. The number is 01326 252020 - speak to Tamsin.

- There's interest in a search. Is there anyone on here who would like to help?
- 2015-02-03 20:44 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Megan has vestibular syndrome (not a stroke)
family & friends have been out on a search today & been everywhere they can think of. It is a small community & everyone knows her. There are notices everywhere. The owner is a member of the local sailing club & they have checked the shoreline.
Heather (owner) has also spoken to Jenny (K9 tracker). Everything that can be done has been done/is being done. - 2015-02-03 18:48 Lin Iddon
- Try Jenny & Tiga www.k9tracker.co.uk I used them a year ago - brilliant!

- Not sure why K9 search told you that the scent is too cold. I know several dogs that have been tracked and found more than a week after going missing.

- She has been missing since 11am this morning. Was last seen heading towards sailing club/Kestle Barton & Manaccan area. Will be disorientated & owner not sure whether due to her recent stroke etc, she will be able to follow a scent.
Photo will be uploaded asap
Local fb pages updated & will email advice sheets.

- Sorry to see that MEGAN is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (82236)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
