- Hi all sorry i have not been able to access my account.
Duchess was staying at a Friends house in Swindon SN1 4HN Old town area
She went on a long country walk @ the ridge way on the downs when she saw a rabbit and not being used to seeing rabbits as shes from London, she shot of with excitement and never returned. As it stands i have been told posters where put out the time .
Thanks for all the interest - 2015-02-05 17:23 BUBBLES
- I have still not found the comment, but people were asking the poster of the lost dog for a specific area for a search, this is when she said they were staying in the Minety area and she does know the people but has not been able to contact them. In light of what I have read I have contacted the Glos council dog wardens if she is found in this area to let me know and I will add to doglost

- Sorry I thought the comment I had read was on here. The post was regarding Duchess, the comment was the owners were staying in or near Minety. For the life of me I cannot find the comment but will keep looking.

- Very helpful lady from Wiltshire Dog Warden service has called in response to my email re Duchess. At this time they have no report of a lost or found dog matching her description but will keep the DL link for reference. Advice given to ensure loser contacts both Wilts and Swindon DW. Have sent a further text message.

- Thanks Bubbles, that's great. Sadly I've not heard anything back as yet, poor Duchess needs our help! I've emailed the Doglost links to the Wiltshire Dog Warden.

- This may or may not be relevant.
There is The Ridgeway at Crudwell near Malmesbury the post code is SN16 9YH. Perhaps they were staying somewhere in The Ridgeway in Crudwell which is approx. 5.8 miles away from Minety. Maybe SN1 was a typo error. The mention of Ridgeway could be the place and not the ancient right of way. There is a Charlton Park 15 mins away from Crudwell possibly a nice area to walk a dog. - if owners have gone home can we have contact details of who is co-ordinating this page please as I am concerned nobody is really sure where she went missing......is there someone checking vets DW etc

- missingnooks if you are in contact with the owner somehow can you please ask them to either check this page or answer their phone calls as there are experienced people in this area that can help.
Also can you verify the date she went missing as NO date is showing (this is usually between Tattooed & Where Lost).
You say the owners were there for the weekend so are they still in the area or returned to london as Duchess was registered only yesterday?Last edited: 2015-02-03 10:51:44 by Sammie - 2015-02-03 10:16 Reynard

- I have shared sn25 but this sounds as if it is miles away if it is the ridgway.

- As far as my understanding Wiltshire Downs is a massive 380 sq miles of countryside walk so i'm to sure where abouts they was on the walk Just know it was near minty, @Alex ~I just asked and she said ridgeway
Unfortunately she was not chipped :(
Sorry for the confusion as i'm not from the area
Sn1 is the area of where she was staying - 2015-02-02 22:02 Alex
- can we have a bit more clarity - where on the wiltshire downs? The ridgeway? Barbury? Postcode given as Sn1 which is town centre & old town. Query if owners may have misunderstood their location as they are not from the area.

- She went for a walk at Wiltshire Downs the outskirt of Swindon
She was staying in Swindon for the Weekend and i guess seeing the open county side she got excited and took of chasing a rabbit.
Someone did text me but i deleted the text half way through by accident x - 2015-02-02 21:13 Reynard
- Have sent owner txt for more info and have given telephone nos of Dog warden
