Just received a fone call from rspca inspector dealing with this case and she has confirmed that it is NOT this dog as microchip details do not match. She too has ploughed through our database and can find no match against our records.

Already talking with police/rspca . Rspca have this dogs chip no for comparison. If the same, they have my contact details to follow up.

Great...lady says dog was on its own...but looked black rather than brindle...but it was wet...and probably after this time rather dirty...did you find out where abouts in Radcliffe please?

Possible sighting phoned into HQ in Radcliffe. Will call owner with sighters details so they can get a more detailed area.

hi amy, how has he gone missing? please put posters up all over and knock on doors, putting flyers thru doors if no one is in. we are starting to share him across facebook. please use facebook and twitter to get the word out there. there is a high probability that he has been picked up and may be sold on, so start keeping a look out on pet sales pages/groups, pets4homes, gumtree, preloved, etc. and look at photos carefully as they may dye his hair to make him unrecogniseable. do we have an actual photo of charlie, we need to know what he looks like for comparisons and to look out for him?

Have you been down the valley and checked the undergrowth there and the industrial estate in case he has gone into there and can't get out? Worth taking posters and asking around the industrial estate to let their employers know to keep an eye out when they are driving around there xx

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
