- Fantastic news - lovely to hear that Max has now been safely reunited. Get well soon Max and don't wander off again! I was postering today and met a lady who said she had seen a dog like Max last week which was being pursued by the police down Cock Lane and along Lance Way. Wonder if that was Max doing a triangle?!!

- Thank you penny. We have had stranger things happen & dogs found miles away so it is always worth popping up on here for people to check out. You just never know ;-) If you could update on here once you've had another look this would be very much appreciated. If at all possible ,a photo can often assist in these situations but I understand, not always easy .Steph.Last edited: 2015-02-10 12:17:57 by Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London

- Wasn't sure wether to put this on here, as i know its a long way from where max was lost, but i saw a black lab having a poo! In a coppice wood alongside lasham airfield near Alton, Hampshire. The reason it caught my eye is because it is a private wood where hazel is grown and harvested for crafting etc, noone walks there as at the back is a gliding and cargo runway, i could not stop as i was taking my daughter to school, and cars behind me. I will go back this afternoon and see if i can see dog again. I saw noone with it. I know its a long shot and don't want to raise hopes but you never know! I will post again later when i have had a look

- Have there been any more sightings or any news?
- 2015-02-09 17:20 Rose
- Lovely boy, Hope he is found very soon. Did he run off while on a walk?

- There is a Black Lab found on another site found Chesham HP5. Not sure if you want to check this out in case?
I am not sure that this dog is secure though - sounds like it ran off??
Black labrador dog found in Chesham (HP5) on 7th February 2015
Location: Latimer Road, Chesham, HP5
Sex: Unknown
Approx Age: Medium Age
Main Colour: Mainly/All Black
Not yet scanned for a microchip
Other Information: Was found in the river outside Milkhall Barns, 109 Latimer Road, Cheshem, on top of a Muntjack. The dog much have been desperately hungry to attack a Muntjack. It was the Kuntjack's screams that drew our attention to the river … locals all came out to find out what the noise was. The dog hesitated before running off so it was clearly very hungry, lost, desperate as Labs don't do things like this!

- You CAN find Max, hang in there. Can everyone in the area please help Max's owner by alerting everyone you know and putting up a few posters each. We need to plaster the area and beyond so we get sightings quickly. It's so hard to think, let alone function when you have a lost dog. Thank you. x

- Need people to check all their gardens etc in case he's hiding nearby. If you are anywhere in the vicinity its a lovely sunny morning to take a stroll down the garden and make sure he's not there. Check all bushes, sheds, under covers where summer furniture is stored etc. Please also ask neighbours to do the same. Many people are not on facebook and others will not be on this site. Please ask everyone to spread the word to look everywhere TODAY. Thank you.

- Hi Silver, there are probably a hundred entrances to those woods. I take your comment about no poster at the Dolphin on board. Will get out and do more posters round the entrances I know about tomorrow - If anyone else uses entrances on the Tylers Green side, please poster them for me - I don't know where to find those!
- 2015-02-07 19:52 silver
- I also did recky of area - drove to car park of the Dolphin - is this correct entrance to Kingswood? Don't know this wood and looked a bit dense to walk it alone even with my dog. Walked a little way in as saw black lab and then saw its owner. Returned as did not want to get lost. Just at that moment my dog's Flexi lead snapped so had to "walk" him back to car by his collar. Did not see posters. Happy to do search with others and joint postering.
