I'm posting on behalf of Carla - It looks like Jasper was sadly killed this morning, size, colour, time and location all add up - We get a call from someone telling us they have been made aware and chased it up with a call to the Metro... Whilst it is only a tiny tiny chance Carla is still holding out some small hope. I am calling the Metro back tomorrow to see if I can get his remains to try and identify him and then give him a proper send-off - thanks all so much for your help, advice and assistance it was so much appreciated, and we will do all we can to help others where we can. - James (Mr Carla)

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Gutted for Carlita and little JASPER. Only consolation is family have closure and may never have known the sad outcome and spent a long time looking for him.

THANK YOU to everyone who shared and helped look out for him.

Run free at the Bridge and sweet dreams JASPER

Mosspage - we are kinda in the middle - he's my mums dog she's visiting because I'm in hospital having brain surgery so he doesn't have a usual place. He got out the back garden which backs onto the tram tracks :( and polyflor.

I'm so worried because I'm stuck in hospital and can't really help much. We've called the dog warden and they' e been out looking all morning. His recall is really good normally
