- I'm so sorry your sweet baby didn't make it home safely, so sorry to read this. But at least you found her and have closure, that's the only good thing about this. :'(

- Rachel I am so sorry I couldn't cancel her Thunderclap ....Once approved they can only be edited ad it was hardest edit I ever made.
Pip caught in my heart asher face is so like our own baby who was just 3 weeks older when she was stolen. I am so very sorry I couldn't cancel it but really am thinking of you all xx - 2015-02-25 17:24 Kit'sMum
- I think it would be a good idea to have a post mortem if you can afford it to ascertain whether there was foul play involved. If there was, I would leave no stone unturned to find the culprit and punish them to the fullest extent of the law. Even though a soul-mate cat died in our bedroom it took me over a year and a lot of heart searching to get over it.

- Devestated that Pip did not make it home, my thoughts are with Pip's family, who can be certain they have a new angel watching over them now and a Pip sized place forever in their hearts x

- Oh no, the outcome I had been dreading. Absolutely heartbreaking. I was so hoping that there would be a happy ending. I am so very, very sorry, and my thoughts are with the family at this absolutely devastating time. Too young for the bridge, but run free, beautiful little Pip, where my four springers will be waiting to play xxxx

- Have been following the search for pip since a friend shared the link. I'm not local so wouldn't of been able to help but hope she is found hiding somewhere safe. Only came to check if there were any sittings or hoping to see she's been found and I'm sad to read the recent comments. Rip pip x thoughts are with the family x

- Louise and family, you only have to look at the number of 'views' Pip's page has had (32042 in 6 days as I type) to realise just how many lives she has touched. I certainly can't stop thinking about her. I lost my cocker boy 3 months ago so he is relatively new to Rainbow Bridge himself, but I know he will look out for Pip for you. Sending you hugs xx

- You wonderful folks have done lots to support the search for Pip, including a thunderclap. I'm going to show my lack of knowledge here as I don't have a clue what that is!
Louise and Tom ask if this can be stopped. I have no idea who set this up, but can anyone assist me with this please? - 2015-02-15 12:20 Unknown
- Louise, and Tom. I know you are heartbroken, but take comfort that she is only sleeping, and you have not lost her forever. She will always be around you in spirit, and in your hearts, and one day you will see her again:-) If it is any consolation a friend of mine lost his Springer spaniel to mouth cancer, and sometimes sees hin playing happily in spirit. Gold bless you both. Pip too. Sending Louise, and Tom comforting ((((((HUGS))))))Last edited: 2015-02-15 12:24:43

- I'm so so sorry, Louise & Tom. Such a tragedy for you - young Pip stole many of our hearts, and I won't be the only one who gave my own pups an extra big hug this week. Very best wishes

- Our hearts are broken.
But we know where our little girl is.
Thank you to everyone. Your support has been the one thing keeping us going.
I have requested a post Mortem but I won't find out until Monday whether it is even possible. There was no visible signs of trauma or an extended time in the sea.
Pip was not keen of the water. The times I went down to the beach with her, she didn't even paddle. If her feet were caught by the tide, she's run back to me in horror. We do not believe she went into the water on purpose.
She may have fallen in the river, which has a very strong current. She may have been put in on purpose. Maybe we'll never know. What we do know is that doglost are now a part of our lives and we will, with Dolly, help out where we can. Time to pay it forward.
Take care, everyone and thank you. X

- We will be down mewsbrook in about half an hour if anybody wants to meet us to see the route she took text me or call on 07957644270 and i will be happy to meet you
- 2015-02-14 10:51 morgana
- The alley she went down leads onto another alley which then leads up to the tesco express area so a lot of postering round there might help
- 2015-02-14 10:02 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- I am happy to come back down again with Tiga, it will be easier to track a scent on 'land' than on the beach.
- 2015-02-14 09:51 SAB222
- We have looked around Ferring, just on the off chance she has come this way. Will join the search in Littlehampton today, but will not be there at the start, so we will start at the sports centre and make our way through the park and around that area. (Just to let the coordinator know)

- We came in at the top end of mewsbrook and think she went up the alley into the cul de sac not 100%sure it was her but definately small with dark markings and 2 ladies asked another couple if they had lost a dog. Will be down that way later so will keep looking
- 2015-02-14 08:08 louise
- It's such a comfort to know that there are people going out today when I cant.
After chatting to Jenny this morning, it looks like the houses thru mewsbrook are a great place to go leafleting. Our scent won't be with you so,if she is in the area, it won't confuse her. Thank you Jenny for taking time out to talk to us today. Thank you leafleters, from the bottom of my heart xxxxx - 2015-02-14 07:37 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- That is interesting Morgana about the possible sighting on Monday because Tiga tracked to the swimming pool and took us round the back to a locked gate that Tom thought Pip could get under. The other side was the cafe and Mewsbrook.
Before we got to this point we had tracked across the small golf course by the water works and swimming pool so the houses backing onto the golf course would be worth a door to door. Last edited: 2015-02-14 08:00:04 by Jenny & Tiga k9tracker - 2015-02-14 07:27 Patlucky

- it feels like an hour ago I was last updating you....but Rachel has been busy!! Thank you, kind lady xxxxx
Unforch, there's no getting away from the fact I have to work tomorrow. I'm gutted. Tom and I have discussed the search and we are overwhelmed by your kindness. Tom had planned to spend the day driving round the local shelters to take posters over. Pips chip is flagged as lost/stolen, but centres have visitors at weekends. And, thank god for those pets in need of a forever home xx
The reason for the late post this evening is that I was contacted by the lovely Sophie. A couple of days ago, she and her puppy, Skip spotted what looked like a springer puppy frolicking in the vicinity of Hove Lawns. Poor skip has had his legs walked off to the knees by both Sophie and her pop in the last 2 days trying to find this pup. And then there was an other sighting today, from a friend who hadn't even heard of Pip.(where has HE been???!) Sophie told us and I was in hunt mode. The first meal I've cooked since Monday went into a Tupperware box and off we shot. In the palm tree-bending gale that is currently hitting the south coast...... We drive down to hove lawns and spent a half hour tramping the prom, whistling, banging her food bowl and sending dolly through the beach huts.
Of course, if she had been there, being my puppy who detests being cold and wet, would have been holed up somewhere warm and dry. Doesn't matter. I feel a whole lot better x
I believe the lovely Sophie has organised a bit of a search party of her own along there on Saturday, combing the area for her. As we are reluctant for Tom to walk anywhere in littlehampton that could jeopardise pips safety, there is a possibility that he may join Sophie in her search.
Thank you all so much. Hopefully I will see some of you on Sunday morning xx - 2015-02-13 23:47 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks morgana. That's interesting and it's quite possible for the dog to have been Pip.
Maybe the lovely helpers meeting up tomorrow would make sure there are posters put up and into doors on the Beaumont estate.
Thanks again. - 2015-02-13 21:37 morgana
- On monday my daughter and i were walking the dogs in mewsbrook and saw a small white dog,at first we thought it was with someone but by the time we realised it wasnt it had disappeared,we walked round looking for it for a while but couldnt see it and assumed it lived in the houses nearby. It was between 9.30 and 10 o'clock and it went out onto the beaumont estate, sorry this message is late but only just come on here,it might be worth going round the houses near there

- Just spent a couple of hours walking around west beach from the footbridge where I could access to the sand dunes and along the golf course, without any luck tonight but will try there again a couple of times tomorrow, also no luck walking up an down by the beach huts and seafront again, but on a positive no one has moved the pet carrier so if she makes it there she will find some shelter and food.
Thanks to everyone for their help its overwhelming to say the least !! - 2015-02-13 18:40 Serendipity_Viv
- Also I put leaflets in the properties along South Terrace, though ran out by the time I reached the pub, the O3.

- I can't do tomorrow, but I will be able to join you all on Sunday if that is OK.

- OK, well done everyone for rallying round. I can't do tomorrow but will be there on Sunday morning - that is, unless there is some wonderful news on here by tomorrow evening. Good luck to everyone tomorrow - some super advice from Jenny as usual. Louise and Tom, stay strong - you have loads of people rooting for you. x

- Having looked at Google maps again and seeing the marina alongside the golf course and a small boat going down the river I wonder if there is anyone in the marina that could do a river search of the banks. Perhaps there is a club house that someone could make contact with and ask. Maybe there are some ledges on the river bank - it won't be the first time a dog has been rescued from the banks. I know Pip doesn't like water but she is young and will want to explore. Last edited: 2015-02-13 17:22:50 by Jenny & Tiga k9tracker

- Awww. Thanks grandymo .. we really appreciate that message. I have just spoken to Louise and can hear that she has hit a big low today. Not at all surprising, she and you all must be going through hell at the moment. Hopefully when she reads all these comments she will be boosted by the support she has. Thanks again :)
Just to say that Pip's disappearance was reported to the police on the day she went missing so I have added the incident number to this page.
I have been told that Dog Wardens have bee told too. I am hoping this includes any in surrounding areas as we know that sometimes dogs are picked up and taken by the finders to their own home area. - May I send you all my warmest thanks for all the help being given to Louise and Tom just now.You are so helping them to be strong and positive in such a devastating situation. I do not live close to them to help much, but to know how many generous and kind people out there are giving up their time to help just warms my heart. Many many thanks to you all. ( Louises mum)

- I sent my printing contact the link from this page this morning, so we have the most up to date posters for tomorrow. I am currently listing individual areas for searching/postering to hand out to people tomorrow. I'll maintain a list so we know who has gone out to each area.
A reminder for those just reading this TEAM PIP SEARCH PARTY. SAT 14TH AND SUN 15TH FEB. MEET AT EAST BEACH CAFE, LITTLEHAMPTON SEAFRONT AT 10.30 EACH MORNING. - 2015-02-13 16:23 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks Jenny, ravenette and Rachel!
I should also have said that Louise has asked for any and all updates to go on to this page. It helps keep things in chronological order and also will let people know what has been done and what has not been done yet.
i also know that she has had some unkind things said to her by not so nice people on Fbk which I have said she must IGNORE. This sadly happens when you have such a massive campaign to find a lost dog.
(We do monitor our Doglost pages and will remove any inappropriate comments)
If you have or are postering please would you leave a quick comment on here to let us know where they are. It would help those going out over the weekend to know what places to target. If you are walking around and do not see a poster, please put one up!
Bear in mind that posters printed at the beginning of the week will not have the REWARD mentioned.
Posters in car windows are brilliant too. Thanks. Last edited: 2015-02-13 16:29:00 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-02-13 16:17 Ravenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
- Good idea to do the golf club and the cafe up by West beach as it gets lots of dog walkers etc around there. And the Marina and the boats and park home sites. I can help with this but not until Sunday. Have posters been put up in Rustington? xx
- 2015-02-13 16:16 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Team Pip .. you are all amazing and thank you so much for all you are doing to find this young, vulnerable puppy.
An organised search and postering session is definitely what is needed now. Specifically to make sure Pip is TOO HOT TO HANDLE.
Rachel .. that sounds excellent! Thank you for organising this.
We ask that you use Doglost posters (which can be printed direct fm the poster page on here) as often people will see a poster, go home, perhaps think of something regarding Pip's disappearance, but will have forgotten the tel number on it. If they are Doglost posters then they can look Pip up and can see the owners details.
The posters now have mention of the REWARD for the safe return of Pip which it is important to let people know about.
I would suggest starting by absolutely flooding the seafront area, particularly around the places that Jenny mentioned, as well as along the front. Then any and all areas should have lots and lots of posters please.
There can never be enough posters!
Remember it only takes that one call from someone who has seen a poster to get Pip back home.
Large laminated posters are great, but it's also good to have reduced size ones (A5) to not only save on paper and ink, but to post through people's letterboxes and hand out to everyone you speak to.
Massive thanks to Jenny and Tiga for making the journey to track. Sadly it has just confirmed what many of us have thought from the beginning that Pip has been taken. A little worrying about Tiga going to the water, but I understand from Louise that Pip did not like the sea so hopefully she would have stayed away from it.
I can understand if someone has taken Pip and fallen in love with her that they may wish to keep her but the fact remains that if they have kept her and have not reported it they are breaking the law. It is ILLEGAL to keep any found dog and not report it to the Police or Dog Wardens. If this is the case and the finder is reading this page then I'm begging you to PLEASE inform your Dog Wardens or Doglost as soon as possible please and/or take her to a safe place where she can be found.
If you or someone you know has Pip PLEASE give her back. The important thing is to get Pip back to her distraught family .. you will not be in trouble and there will be NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Just take her to a place of safety so she can go back to her home.
If you suspect that someone has got a new puppy in the last few days or if you have ANY information about her disappearance
PLEASE, PLEASE contact Doglost Admin on admin@doglost.co.uk or tel 0844 800 3220 in TOTAL CONFIDENCE.
I would also ask that everyone still keeps a look out for Pip as she may well be dumped with all the publicity going on. So just because she is not out and about now, she could just turn up in the park or locally at any time. Thanks.
Lastly, thanks to Tom Cotterill for interviewing Pip's owners. I hope you will run with the story so people not on social media will hear about this young pup too.
Louise .. you are doing a great job and please stay positive. We will all be here to support you and keep you strong. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP!
Once again, my sincere thanks to everyone who is giving up their time to support and help Pip's family. You make a brilliant team and I know you will not give up. We will continue to make every effort we can to help find Pip and reunite her with her loving family.

- Hi Jenny, I'd planned to cover the golf club and the marina, plus a little cafe that way with posters tomorrow. Unless someone has already beaten us to it. Can't get out this afternoon to do it unfortunately.
- 2015-02-13 15:49 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- Just been looking on google maps and there is another possibility worth checking. When Tiga tracked to the water he also tracked along the base of the 'pier' and up some steps to the building site and wanted to go through the 'Herras' fences but there was no where to go so I pulled him back. I just wonder if the fences were in a different position earlier in the week and Pip could have got through, she could then have travelled inland about half a mile and gone over a bridge over the river and onto a golf course. Owner is going to check this out. Can anyone poster the golf club.

- I wonder if we can get the page bumped with SEARCH PARTY or something on the headline. There may be more people in the area this weekend who can help out with the leafleting etc.
- 2015-02-13 11:07 Serendipity_Viv
- I've added the message about meeting up on Facebook on my site, as well as Items for Sale in Littlehampton and The Sportsman site.
- 2015-02-13 11:03 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- The way forward here is to make Pip too hot to handle - everyone I spoke to yesterday while tracking with Tiga knew about Pip and were still looking. There were so many people out walking dogs in the area but no sign of Pip.
Tiga tracked around the area some of the way was obviously where Pip had been walked on the Monday morning and other small loops where Pip may have wandered around closeby. Tiga took us behind the beach huts to where owner was walking and I suspect this was where they became separated.
I was a little concerned that the only place Tiga went down to the water was in the last section near the light house where signs were up saying that bathers should keep out of that section. Hopefully Tiga was just in a checking mode.
There were a number of dry sheltered areas under bushes but Tiga checked all these and with so many people about and loose dogs I am confident that Pip is not hiding in this immediate area.
I had hoped that Tiga would have taken us inland and through gardens but this was not to be and after a time Tiga got bored and was only intent on dragging me to the sheltered crate left with food in indicating that there was nothing more he could do.
For those wanting to help this weekend I would suggest that more posters go up and in particular the Dog Lost version as this indicates that there is now a reward.
Owners must not give up as so many dogs and puppies in this situation are reunited with the help of everyone on here and the general public. A puppy so young and microchipped will hopefully soon come to light. - 2015-02-13 10:54 Serendipity_Viv
- I am going to put leaflets through doors all along South Terrace today. I hope to be able to make one of these sessions, mainly dependent on the kids. I will see if anyone local wants to help on FB.

- I live more than an hour away, don't know the area but would be happy to come with my little Border Terrier and hand out flyers along the seafront. It might be an idea to give a meeting time/place for everyone and create some structure to the day so you can achieve maximum coverage.

- I live about an hour away, I can come with my cocker puppy and help on sunday, if my puppy isnt too upsetting for you to see but she may get people stopping to talk x

- Are any local members of 'Team Pip' prepared to join forces over the weekend and get out there and hand out flyers? I'm thinking Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Pets at Home, Waitrose, Lidl, Ford car boot. We'll need to ask permission from the duty manager at each store.
Let's hit Littlehampton big time, if she's here and been taken in, the more people that are aware of the campaign to reunite her with Louise and Tom , the better.
I need to sort out the logistics of getting more leaflets printed, any offers of help will be gratefully received.
UPDATE: A FRIEND HAS OFFERED TO PRINT A5 FLYERS AND LARGER POSTERS. CAN WE AGREE TO MEET AT EAST BEACH CAFE AT 10.30 ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY MORNING. POSTCODE IS BN17 5GB. WHEN WE KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WE HAVE, WE CAN SPLIT UP WITH A TARGET AREA EACH.

- Louise please just remember most ARE found...They really are. Via Pup we share and look for so many others and reunited is a lot more common than your fears are telling you so hang in there my friend.
Will keep looking on the groups, pages adds and Any like her will let you know and Stan..he proves they get home.
Hey maybe Jenny and Tiga (you could not find better than those two) will have more positive news than you think and well her Thunderclap will get huge and when it comes out it is to this page too.
You hang in there Sarah xx - 2015-02-12 22:40 louise
- Hi all. Quick update as to where we are all at. Taken over 70 calls and msgs regarding Stan. So 70 more people know that he's home and happy and that pip is still out there. Tom has spent the afternoon with Jenny and tiga from k9 trackers. If Jenny could update when she's able to....the gist of it was that the news is not great.
I don't feel that pip is still on the loose. I'm hoping that Jenny confirms this. I wish I'd been able to meet her and the boy. We are so grateful for your help xxx
I had a telephone interview with Tom cotterill from the gazette. Neither Tom nor I could face a photo session holding a poster of pip. This is not about us anyway.
All we want, and I hope it comes across in the article, is that we want our baby girl back. To the chancer who has her, she is merely a commodity to get a few hundred pounds. To us, she is our toddler. She runs to us for comfort when she is scared, when she is cold, when she is tired. To the opportunist who got themselves a free puppy, she will not behave like a pet. And I can't bear the thought of her being abused when she behaves like the hooligan she can be. :(
All in all, I can hear one chapter in the search for Pip being firmly slammed shut.
But there are still others to be heard xxx
Thank you, as always, for your continuing support. Unfortunately, I cannot be on social media and this site all day and night. W have job. We must keep it. But we do want everyone to know that we value your imput in the search for our little girl xx - 2015-02-12 21:46 BrewsterB

It seems as though simeone must be looking after her as she hasnt been found, so please anyone reading this who knows anything, contact pips family, and get her home, there are so many puppies needing homes, pip already has one,be kind and give another puppy a chance of a good home, that would make you such a double good person x

- The Leighton Buzzard Springer, mentioned by Christine, was reunited with his owner. He was called Stan and had been missing for a year. All sorts of people on Facebook tried to claim that he was their dog.
Has Pip been put on Twitter? It can be quite useful. Has Radio Sussex (or whatever it is called these days) been contacted? They may post on Fb, retweet or put out a message on the air.

- Thanks for the update Louise. Glad you are able to get on here again.
Thanks again to all the wonderful people who are helping and supporting Pip's family. So many of you and an amazing amount of shares from this page as well as from Louise's personal Fbk page.
Thank you also to all who are looking at the selling sites for Louise.
MACK MAN Wow! Not often we get help like that and thank you so much for your efforts. So glad that you actually got to meet Louise and were able to help with your quad!
Thanks to all the people who have been Tweeting and to everyone who has retweeted. Amongst those who did so was the Littlehampton Gazette and I have just emailed the Chief Reporter there asking if they would do an article on Pip as there are so many people interested in finding young Pip and I feel it would also be a great way of getting word to everyone who is not on social media. I am hoping for a positive response!
I'm unfortunately not going to be able to post on here until late tomorrow as I have to go to London for an appointment that I cannot avoid. However, Springermad is going to keep an eye on this page for any developments and will keep me informed if there is any news of Pip. Thanks Springermad.
Still hoping that someone can come forward with some information about Pip that will lead to her being returned to her family. I can't imagine what you are going through at the moment and poor Dolly must be missing her so much too.
Please carry on helping Louise and making Pip TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Many thanks everyone.

- Finally, I'm back on the site! Never trust me with technology!!!
Absolutely gobsmacked at the amount of support we have out there for our little girl and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts x
Rachel, lovely to talk to you today at last AND I got to meet mackman!!!!!!
Today has been painful. I have taken numerous telephone calls from people who have seen the Jeanette brown photo of Stan on Doglost and think it's pip. Bless their hearts for getting in contact with me, for every disappointment I get a glow inside that someone else knows she's gone. Then the gumtree ad appeared and all hell broke loose, in a great way. I THINK that pup has been rescued from the man as well as a sibling. BOOM!!!!!
The leafleting campaign has started well, albeit with sore feet and poor dolly has blisters on her blisters. So many people have already heard about the campaign, so I saved my leaflets for older residents who might not have the Internet.
All I can say is please please print off a few copies of the poster if you can and put it out there. Doctors, dentists, vets, pubs, the corner shop, the local takeaways ...thanks Rachel for the great ideas!
Thank you xxxxx - 2015-02-11 20:04 mayjul

- Shared again - hope this little one will be found soon.

- Louise has confirmed the gumtree advert is not Pip, but thanks for posting. We will find her.
- 2015-02-11 12:27 SpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
- At least it shows the owners that there are lots of people out there following up every angle and wishing Pip safely home.
- 2015-02-11 12:11 Rachel
- I've texted Louise the link so she can check for sure.
- 2015-02-11 12:04 SpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
- Do you think the pic on the gumtree ad has a full tail? Looks like that is a tail to me in which case I believe Pip is docked?
- 2015-02-11 12:03 KayThompson
- Rosie12 - Gumtree springer pup's ad was posted 6 days ago but may be worth following up.
- 2015-02-11 12:03 Rosie12
- Ah okay, it was worth a try! Really hope she gets found safe and sound very soon.
- 2015-02-11 12:02 Rachel
- Thank you Rosie12, the dog on Gumtree has a tail and I think Pip has been docked. I'll get Louise to check the listing for definite.
You are all amazing, thank you for your help and posting links like this. What a great community.Last edited: 2015-02-11 12:04:31 by Rachel - 2015-02-11 11:57 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- 2015-02-11 11:51 Rosie12
- I have just seen this circulating on Facebook and thought I would post it on here to make someone aware as people seem to be suspicious of the circumstances and it seems to resemble your puppy in the pictures. http://www.gumtree.com/p/dogs/12-week-old-springer-spaniel/1099405605

- Thanks Mackman, just spoke to Louise. She got your message late last night and didn't have time to respond. I'm sure she'll be in touch to thank you personally.

- I know you've probably already thought of this, but maybe ask the shops and businesses, in Littlehampton and Rustington to display posters. They are not likely to be taken down or ruined in wet weather and it highlights her to many more people, posters up outside schools, may help and the skatepark too.
I really would like to help, as i'm local, but i'm not well at the moment.
Hoping you receive some positive news very soon and you have your baby home, where she belongs xx - 2015-02-11 10:58 MACK MAN
- I'll fly the beach area I have a good range on my quad .. but I wont be flying over peoples gardens at low level because of privacy laws .. but will do what I can..
- 2015-02-11 10:53 Rachel
- Yes she is still missing. Owner is currently out putting posters up. Last seen near Inspire. A shelter and scent trail set up behind the East Beach cafe. Owner would like to go as far as the shore between Littlehampton and Rustington and as far as East Preston, are you able to help with that area at all?
We've been carrying out searches on foot around the gardens, putting area, Mewsbrook Park etc already.
Thank you so much for your help, I'll let Louise know. - 2015-02-11 10:48 MACK MAN
- Any news on Pip yet please can we have an update .. - Have just had message from Louise who asked me to pass this on.
"I'm really struggling with the site. Lovely Alison phoned me and talked me theu the process, then I went out to lay a scent and put a shelter out and when I checked my emails, no spam folder!
Please could you update the site for me again?
There's a shelter at the back of the east beach cafe and a strong scent trail. Please can all my lovely followers observe from afar. I'm going leafleting this morn in the rustington area and will be doing the beachfront properties that are possibly retirement flats etc in case the person who has her is not on the Internet.
I'd like to thank everyone who has kept in contact with me and offered to help. If you live in rustington, please print off the poster if you can and let everyone know that pip is still out there.
Thank you xxxxxx"

- I live in North Lancing. Have friends in Littlehampton area. Have contacted asking them to keep their eyes peeled. Information about is on lots of social networking sites so hopefully this little girl will soon be returned home.

- I have seen Pip being shared around a lot of facebook groups and sites so hoping this will help bring her home, together with her microchip. Was hoping there may have been a sighting by now... I don't know the area but it looks built up. My feeling is that someone may have taken her in, possibly well intentioned... I know we all know what should be done and the law etc but not sure this is wildly known. Another thought, given that she is docked, is possible circulation around the working gundog community - if someone has picked her up and offering her on.... does anyone have any contacts? Just a thought. Fingers and paws crossed for a safe return little Pip x

- I tweeted for PIP last night - really hope She is soon home & safe x
Will RT now that i have just read 'false alarm' :( x

- Unfortunately this was a false alarm .. well meant but turns out that the post shared by the lad on Fbk was of Stan the Springer found the other day.
So the search goes on.
Many thanks again to everyone who is out there helping search/poster for Pip.
Please would you all put a poster up in your car windows? Great to have as people take notice wherever you go.
Over 2000 shares now and over 8500 views of the page! Shows how many of you are supporting the family. We will not give up and will continue to share and tweet for Pip. Thanks everyone!

- Spent sometime this afternoon walking around the area, showing people Pip's poster and asking them to look out for her. Most people already were aware about her, which is good. Just read the update below, gosh have everything crossed in the hope the news is good about this lead.

- Has a chat with Louise just now and have now got a message from her ..
"I can't get onto doglost to post. It no longer recognises my password and I'm still waiting on a link to get another.
Also, literally after you hung up, I got a phone call. Possible a boy in littlehampton has her. Making contact theu Facebook ATM x"
Oooh! Got everything crossed that this is Pip that this lad has. - 2015-02-10 20:13 Rachel
- We've just spent another couple of hours searching around the area where she went missing, rechecking our areas from this morning and new areas around garages etc. We've looked under beach huts, around garages, in the undergrowth calling her and shaking a food box. I'll try to go back out in the morning.
Word is very much out locally according to the people we've spoken to. I also feel she may have been 'taken in' by someone as there have been no sightings in a built up residential area.Last edited: 2015-02-10 20:13:39 by Rachel - 2015-02-10 20:09 Sall10
- Hope that PIP is found soon, safe and well. Thinking of the owners at this difficult time. BRING PIP HOME!
- 2015-02-10 19:41 Seeks
- Bless your heart...We do know how bad it feels as our own baby was stolen at just under 5 months.....
I hope so much Pip is soon home BUT get as many posters as you can up and get the message out on the ground.....I feel strongly that its the ground work that gets them home....
We didn't know what we were doing and were slow off the mark so we know how important ground work really is...
I am too far to be any use at all but have shared you post about Pip to our babies page with so many hopes xxx - 2015-02-10 18:52 SpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
- Fingers crossed they are around. Which actual day did Pip go missing? It says further down that she was seen at 6am yesterday (monday) at the leisure centre. Is that when she went missing or did she disappear before this? Was she off lead and just disappeared on a walk or what happened I have spent most of the day checking where she has been shared on various sites etc and the word is definitely out there up and down the country which is really good news x

- I am not sure how busy Jenny and Tiga are at the moment, probably in great demand for tracking, but I have sent her a text. I cannot stop thinking about this little girl, and am checking this page constantly.

- Thanks to all of you for your comments and support for Louise. Everyone is doing a great job and I'm sure she appreciates it at such a stressful time.
I have sent a little more advice today but am not sure what to think about the fact that there have been absolutely no sighting yet. Especially as I gather from people in the area (Littlehampton nr Worthing/Bognor) that there are a lot of posters out.
My feeling is that it's possible someone has picked Pip up and not reported this to the Dog Wardens and/or the Police.
>>>>> If anyone has picked up and taken this puppy to safety please remember that it is required by law to report this to the Dog Wardens and/or Police.
>>>>> If anyone knows of a person who has suddenly acquired a puppy like this one but does not want to say so on this page please feel free to call Doglost Admin in total confidence (0844 800 3220)
Thank you.
I have encouraged Louise to double double check places (nr to the Leisure Centre where Pip went missing) that she may have got stuck, shut in to or run to hide in such as beach huts, sheds, rocks, caves (not sure of terrain around there I'm afraid!) Look underneath the huts as well as in if poss and this needs to be done regularly not just on one day pretty please. As I have said before most dogs will return to the place or at least the area that they were lost from (and that they are familiar with)
I'm hoping that bedding was left overnight nr to where Pip went missing in the hope that she comes back and stays with the familiar scent .. this is something we suggest is done from the start and that it is left there (with renewed smelly clothing of owner for strong scent)
The main thing is (as no sightings or news yet) to make this baby
>>> TOO HOT TO HANDLE <<<
Thanks Riverlady for tweeting.
I had loads of Retweets fm the tweets I did last night .. thanks to everyone who did this.
My gratitude to all who have been sharing Pip's posts on Fbk .. PLEASE keep this up! So important to keep the momentum going and you are all doing so well.
Does anyone have contacts with local radio stations, newspapers etc??
It would really help if we were able to get some or any media coverage.
Is anyone able to help with this please?
Posters everywhere and anywhere you can think of please. Give to taxi companies, bus drivers, bus stops, shops, beach hut owners, cafes, parks(in all areas of these if poss please, entrances to footpaths, beach walks, car parks, outside schools, golf clubs, libraries, doctors surgeries, public notice boards and anywhere that a lot people can see them.
Please would everyone put a poster in your car as it's a great way to get the word out everywhere.
I'm sure Louise will update this page when she gets the chance to so that helpers not on Fbk will be able to see what is going on. Really hoping that there is at least a sighting of this pup.

- I have emailed Doglost advice to you Louise. Most dogs will return to the place that they are lost from so try going there and park up with your car to see if Pip goes back.
I have shared to Doglost South East, Doglost East Sussex, Brighton Dogwatch,Littlehampton Gazette and Littlehampton Lifeboat Fbk pages.
You can print posters direct from Pip's poster pages. Please get as many out in the area as possible. I am sure there will be people willing to help you with this.
Have just seen a post saying the area of the beach that Pip went missing is near to Mewsbrook Park so it's possible she could have gone in that direction (especially if she is familiar with it)
Best of luck and I hope Pip turns up soon. Last edited: 2015-02-09 23:15:28 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-02-09 23:04 Jack

- I work at the Clymping dog sanctuary.. She hasn't come into us but people commonly pick them up and look after them for a night then bring them in, if she comes will comment on here or ring details on microchip (if she is), also even though you probably have let the dog warden know and check all the local vets :) hope she is home soon :) x
