I feel she may have been stolen and used for breeding. I really hope they are able to get a reply from the details on the chip. So important to always keep chip details up to date even if your dog has been missing for some years; miracles do happen. What's her name on the chip? that may help locate original owners. x

Admin, She is chipped to Essex but finder couldn't reach owners. Kennels are trying to reach them...Thanks. Doh! Just read further down and saw that you already put this but can't delete this comment...Sorry, complete lack of sleep...Thanks x

UPDATE: Spoke to the Kennels she is in currently. They have been swamped with offers from ESSR rescues and others but are currently trying to reach her owners as they have to do for the obligatory 7 days. Post 7 days, they are positive that she will have a happy ending :-). Thanks so much everyone for all your help. The Kennels said they are very touched by all the offers of help for this little one. X

If this little one isn't claimed, I have the offer of a rescue space for her from SYESSR (South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue) plus the offer of home checks if finder wants to rehome closer to her. Have not been able to reach finder to let her know. Does anyone know which dog warden would most likely be dealing with her as not sure if in Kennels or still with finder. If on 7 days want to make sure she isn't pts if not claimed due to her age and poor health. Thanks
