Hi Melbarnes we all feel your pain and understand how you feel. Try to remember all the good times and the many happy memories that your special dog gave you. All our dogs young or old always leave a paw print on our hearts. He was loved and so were you. Think on the good times and it will lessen the pain in time and you will smile again. Thank you all for your kindness and time. Unfortunately we found out that Eddie was hit by a car on the M40. We just hope it was quick and that he didn't suffer as we didn't find him until yesterday. Thanks again

Just thought, another place to call is the Blue Cross at Lewknor in case he has been handed in there? Also Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and Maccabee Kennels at Longwick, both take in strays.Keep a look on SDK website lostdogsuk.co.uk as they are the collection service for strays in the area.

The Leathern Bottle pub @ Lewknor are very dog friendly and will put up a poster I`m sure, I will email a contact @ Shirburn just down the road and ask them to keep a look-out, and have passed the word to another local dog walker. I have no printer nowadays but will keep a look out when I am walking, also will email a friend at Crowell. I hope Eddie stays safe until he is found.

Sorry to see that Eddie is lost. I am personally tied up all this weekend with family and business so can only suggest that you poster all along the Ridgeway in both directions to Watlington and to Chinnor. Also around Crowell and Kingston Blount. The Shepherds Crook at Crowell are very helpful and will put a poster up in the pub. Also try Alan Hill as he owns a lot of the land along there. Good luck and will get back unless of course Eddie turns up in the meantime!
