Update from owner this morning

"Hi all, Good morning, update on GEORGE, he is ok, was in a bit of pain overnight but the vet have given me some Metacam for just in case.
He has settled down now with ERIC, who continues to wash the little dogs ears as before.
I came down to check them during the night and they were sleeping rolled into one big ball of dog, so they are ok again.
Eric was so excited to be back with GEORGE he just was like Tigger from Winnie the Poo.
I can not believe that he has not just survived 6 days on the motorway but when he showed himself again on the busy M60 at midday he did not get hit"

Thank you GEORGE is OK he was found on the motorway at 12 noon today at the same place as last seen on Sunday, he has a skin infection and sore ears and a sore eye lid but other than that he seems fine, very off with ERIC growling at him and poor ERIC has no idea why, he is so pleased to see him and want to run and jump but GEORGE is exhausted. I am so glad he is back and so grateful to everyone who helped look and FIND him

The police had put a post on their website to say that the 2 dogs had gone onto the motorway at Denton Island and that one had been hit, but when the driver stopped they had both gone, so I am still looking and hoping
