- Where Found This German Shepherd dog was accompanied by a small white dog, possibly a Jack russell type, they were running across the M1 between Junction 20-21 Northbound.

- Other Info Both dogs appeared to be 'playing' on the motorway, I spotted them at the point of the central reservation, they then playfully ran across the motorway and ran up an embankment; Luckily vehicles had already seen the dogs in the distance and managed to avoid them. Police were informed of the location.

- Thank you for reporting this Tan. I had read the article in this evenings Leicester Mercury but the types of dogs not stated. It is reassuring to hear they got off the M1 and hope they are now safe

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
