Not sure the white stripe on head is long enough but please check. One found in Stockport. Chipped but phone number out of date and has travelled a fair way. Photo on Harveys Army North

Update; Diesel still missing. We are continually checking sites and looking at other found huskies to no avail. Reward has been increased to £1000.00. Very disheartened. Think we may know what has happened but can't prove anything.
Woggydoggy
Just an update, no news as yet. Reward posters have gone out to no avail. Continued thanks to anyone who is still sharing.
Woggydoggy
Hi Kat , thanks for looking . No it isn't Diesel, thanks very much xx.

Hi, I'm the lady who Christina has spoken too. Sadly I have no further updates. I have spoken to the owner at length several times and also to the guy that rehomed him from the rescue. Woggydog I understand you are the owner's sister, if you would like to hear first hand any of the information I originally passed on to your brother then feel free to call me 07947982707
Christina6560
Urgh, yeah. I think that's the worst part, nobody has even seen him at all.. we did have 2 people say that they'd seen him being walked in eastfield near us by 2 men -both people saying it was definitely him but we've not heard a single thing since then so still getting shared up there but just assuming people did what everyone has done.. seen a hisky and just assumed it was him even though its evidently completely dog >.<
Yeah, it is xx
Woggydoggy
Dear Christina no offence taken and i agree. I had to jump through hoops to get my rescue dogs and i have been studying dog training and behaviour for years. However i know everyone meant well and my brother loved him to bits as soon as he got him but he didn't listen even to me about letting him off. He has since been up to the pesky husky place and they have told him the same thing. However it doesn't explain his complete disappearance. I have a bad feeling about it but can't prove anything so far. Hoping the reward posters will loosen some lips. Is that your number on the other post?...
Woggydoggy
Hi thanks for the twitter alert Riverlady, although i think poor pesky husky must be getting a little fed up. She had 17 calls in the first couple of days when i went up to Yorkshire putting all the posters and flyers out. They are already on alert. Our reward posters will be going up replacing the initial posters. We have noticed that some of them are being taken down so we are replacing them as quickly as possible. This lull is horrible.
Christina6560
Hi Jean Relph. I've had a look and it isn't him unfortunately :'(
Jean Relph
Have you checked the dog on Dog Theft Awareness County Durham - looks incredibly similar.

Christina6560
Hi, I do think the rescue should have thought the new owner through a bit more :( no offence meant to your brother at all bus as you obviously know even the most experienced of owners can have trouble with a husky! Is it alright to pass you my number for a better way to stay updated with each other? Thanks x
DogLostRiverlady
We have tweeted to @RavenscarRanger + a husky that lives nearby @pesky_husky and local tea rooms already aware.

Dear Christina, i don't know what the rescue guy actually did or did not say, I wasn't there. I know they were trying to be kind because my brother had donated a lot of dog food and stuff. Sadly while walking on the beach his last dog a staff, was badly injured in a cliff slide and she had to be p.t.s. However i have had Huskys and i did tell him. He has learn't a hell of a lesson. Huskys are known runners. There are quite a lot out there lost and your pictures have been really helpful to eliminate some quite close in looks. He might not be my dog but it is waying hard on me also as i am doing all the online and postering stuff for him.
Anyhow reward posters are going out this week...
Christina6560
We did specify that he in particular shouldn't be let off but apparently the rescue didn't tell him although they're saying that they did :/ he's a little bugger and will chase after anything :') aha

Yeah, been In contact with a woman who has been speaking to your brother and she said there was a rumour about a farmer... :'/
A few people have said it was definitely him in E.Field but we don't have a car so cant go round looking but had loads of shares up there too. Some has to know what's happened with him and we'll eventually find out :) even if it isn't good news it would be nice just to know whats happened so we can stop worrying about hom although better news would be preferred! ! Thanks :) x
Woggydoggy
Dear Christina , I Know, its gut wrenching and its hard to get other things done when this is constantly on your mind. Plus i'm also quite angry at my brother for letting him off the lead. Iv'e had huskys and rescues and you really have to watch them hard for at least 3-4 months until they really start to settle. The area my brother lives is rural and the farmers are saying nothing and denying everything. Our next step is to offer a reward to see if it loosens any lips. Thanks for the Facebook shares, much appreciated as i haven't much of a presence on there but i have posted on as many dog lost sites as i know about. I also saw your post about Eastcote sightings. We have postered the vet and the surrounding area. My brother is also driving around there at different times to see if he can spot anything. Here's hoping regards M Cole
Christina6560
Please keep me updated? Absolutely worried sick about him :'( been missing just over 2 weeks now and this is absolutely killing me!been getting shared all over over 500 in the last few days over Facebook! Someone must know where he is! :'(
Woggydoggy
Update: still nothing concrete. Investigations are still ongoing. Some great lady in scarborough saw our posters and called. Don't want to say too much and maybe get her into trouble. Effect was that local police have canvassed Fylingthorpe. At the moment to no avail but hope to have rattled some cages and show we are serious. On my search i am coming across rumours of dogs being held until a reward is being offered especially around Leeds and Bradford. If this goes another week we will have to consider a reward being offered to see if this is the case for us....
Rose
Come on DIESEL show yourself x
Christina6560
We haven't heard or seen anything either, but it's only been a week so there's hope yet :-)
Woggydoggy
Hi, Christina6560 , no not at all every little helps and the extra photos are a big help. My brother hasn't got a new phone so his pictures weren't that clear. We were hoping that maybe he was on his way back to his previous home and that he might be picked up on route. Sadly no news as yet.
Christina6560
Hi, yes. The other post was by me - his previous owner. I hope you don't mind
Just wan't get him back to his new home where he should. I know he's no longer ours, but can't stand the thought of him being out there :(
Woggydoggy
Update: Having travelled up to Yorkshire (my birthplace) from London to assist my brother this weekend to canvass the local area in Fylingthorpe and Ravenscar where Diesel went missing. We have postered all the way from Sandsend through to Scarborough, gone to farmhouses that i didn't even know where there when i lived there and searched relentlessly. We have asked numerous people on walks and gone house to house leaving flyers. We have questioned local sheep farmers to see if there has been any shootings in the area. This Dog has vanished and no one has seen a thing which if you know the area is very strange. A loose dog tends to be picked up. Barring any misfortune we are beginning to think he has been picked up and kept. So to anyone out there who may have him i promise you we will not stop looking for him...
Woggydoggy
Hi Rose, the later listing was not by us . We think it was his previous owner who found out that he had been lost through the rescue that she signed him over to.
We had recently adopted him and he has been trying to escape a few times due probably to being a little unsettled and also due to the fact that Huskys can be runners which my brother has found out to his cost. However every little helps and she had some great photos.
Rose
You have also registered him earlier on 83380, I presume it was because you wanted to add more info and the pics are more clear! He is a gorgeous looking boy and I hope you find him very soon x
Woggydoggy

Sorry to see that DIESEL is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
