I am at the kennels for most of the day tomorrow - hopefully she will be home safely by then but if not and I get back before it gets dark then I'll give owners a ring and go out for a scout about. Really hope Bonnie finds her way home before then - must be a very worrying time for her poor owners:-(

Bonnie bolted from dog groomers, ran main road towards Cade street and went in to fields near Nursery at lunchtime Thursday (12.30pm)
Reported sighting on same day (Thursday 26th Feb) 6.30pm Scotford Road, Broad Oak, Heathfield.

I have spoken to Janine and have sent our Doglost advice which they are following .. they have laid scent trail from dog groomers to their house and will leave bedding where Bonnie can find it when she returns.
From the sighting it sounds as if Bonnie is trying to make her way back to the house she was staying at. The sighting was only about half a mile away so I have also suggested lighting a bbq in case she is near enough to sniff it! We all know most labradors like their food so that may well work!
They have also been taking their own dogs out on the search for Bonnie and will do so again tomorrow. Bonnie may be out in the early hours at first light when it is quieter especially if she is a little nervous.

Hoping that Bonnie will find her way back very soon.

I drive this way every day to work - haven't seen her today. I really hope she turns up safely - what a pity she didn't have a tag on - if someone has picked her up they could have just phoned the owner:-( I'm guessing owners have notified the local land owners as there are lots of surrounding fields. I'm out all day tomorrow but will keep an eye open locally and have shared through all my facebook contacts.

Sorry to see Bonnie is missing. I have sent a text asking for a photo of Bonnie to be added asap so we can send emails out. There are lots of helpers in the Heathfield area so I am sure they will be pleased to help you Janine.
Please let the Dog Wardens and local vets know as soon as you can (and follow the steps at the bottom of this page)

Also I wonder, as Bonnie is your sister's dog, whether she knows the area? If so, she may try to find her own way back to her home. Perhaps you would let us know please? Thanks.
