Had a look round Halewood RSPCA today. I have just spoken to owner, something is niggling me that I have seen him in the RSPCA, it was his distinctive ears that attracted me. RSPCA was busy today will leave a picture and ask them to back check the books!! Will keep checking for him. Jan LOL Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It wasn't renegade who made the mistake, I think it may have been us who had him registered earlier but without photo. I recognised the photo from renegade, and checked through the Jakes on list here.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Maybe the owner would care to comment on this as we do not want our helpers to start a poster campaign until we have the correct facts.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

To add to the confusion, the Jake Owl refers to appears on GSD rescue, no pic but different decription. He also had a tatoo. The file name on the pic on this page is Unknown though.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I knew I had seen that photo somewhere before, and now I am completely baffled. The identical photo appeared on the Renegade Spirit forum as a photo of Jake the GSD x missing Rochdale 20.12.05, but seems to have gone missing from the Doglost page at some point. So the question is, is this the correct photo for this mongrel and what is his name? Is it Jake who was found and then has gone missing again, his owner having moved house or maybe lost him while staying somewhere. It's not just the identical dog - it's the identical photo. Emma, can you make any sense of it?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any helpers in the area need to poster area a.s.a.p. Lamposts, entrances to parks, handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers, ask postie, milkmen, binmen etc. LOL Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
