I am pleased that owner has been found , dont worry Happiness Yorkie lover, you have to have proof of ownership before you can claim a dog ......Kat Chambers, sometimes chips dont show, sometimes they do and are not updated be good t osee a reunited photo x

I ticked the wrong box earlier sorry. I could not find a chip when I scanned. I did try twice with the finders present

katchambers. I so glad you have got your dog back. It's a shame that you had her microchipped hoping it will help your dog be traced. Such a shame people are stealing dogs. Glad she will be home with you safe and sound.

Thank you for finding our dog!! We will collect her tomorrow. Just to make it clear it was not the owner that had her in a car, she escaped out of our temporary fencing, someone must have tried to steal her :( she has been microchipped, its a shame that no one rang us. Thank you again x

Straight to rescue to find a loving home, I hope. Did the onlooker manage to get a registration number so, just possibly, the owner can be prosecuted for cruelty?
