I remember very well tweeting for Jessica's Puppik last year and immediately remembered how she was fortunately found safe by a man in a van I recall xx

Hello everyone. Thank you for all your great efforts. Unfortunately we have very bad news.

Percy was killed after being hit by a car near Acton Town tube station yesterday afternoon.

Everyone is obviously very upset, but we are so grateful for how you have all tried to help.

Spoke to Percy's owners again a sighting of him in Fletcher Road W4 this afternoon has been made. The owner has also said there is a co ordinated search for Percy this evening at the dog grooming parlour corner of acton lane and southfields rd 7.45pm to start at 8pm... @julie sorry not on social networks anymore :(

The Find Percy page has been shared to over 60,000 people, I've targeted the London/Chiswick and now Bollo Lane area but also joined many dogs lost sights.

Thoughts are with the owners... Jessica, we miss you in the group!!!

spoke to Percy's owner at 13.30pm Percy was seen running on Bolo Bridge Rd w4 this morning at 10am this morning, this is near his home. I have spent the afternoon searching the area no sign as of yet, will continue this evening.

Can I suggest you alert helpers in TW7, TW8 & TW9 for all W4 lost dogs. TW8 & TW9 border W4 on the West and South side with TW7 close by too.

When I shared this to Facebook the heading came up as a 'Russian BLACK Terrier' rather than a 'Russian TOY Terrier'.

NB - in my dog lost poster I wrote in the description he looks similar in size and features as a tea cup chihuahua / min pin with markings like a doberman.

I own the sister of Percy with the exact same markings, I live within 2 minutes of and know percys owners in chiswick. My Russian toy wears a blue scarf and a black harness, I'm concerned when we are out walking that people will think mine (dolly) is percy and offer false leads. They look Identical. I have been told he was seen by turnham green tube at 3.30 ish and I was infact there with mine (opposite the tube) i let her off the lead at the entrance of the park and she runs around on her own ( I have two Russian Toy Terriers ).. If any leads come in that he is with a woman and another russian toy, wearing a blue scarf (I'm blonde mid 30s) it will probably be mine not percy.. On a more positive note, I lost my first Russian Toy (Puppik) last year and dog lost helped me find him (it was 3 days later)I have been out looking for percy tonight and will continue first thing. Let me know any way I can help I really feel for you both.. Jessica

Most definitely not a Russian Black Terrier. Please amend breed as this is so misleading. He is a toy terrier, black and tan.

Might it help a finder to identify Percy if his breed is changed? Russian black terriers are huge, like a bouvier or giant schnauzer. Percy sounds more like a mini pinscher or Manchester terrier. Just a thought, hope he is found soon.
