  • Other Info Copper coloured Retreiver hit by a car on Hardwick Lane near the entrance to Hardwick Heath at 8.40 this morning driver failed to stop (silver/blue Hyundai) travelling towards hospital I went and looked in the gardens of the houses of where it ran off and couldn't see it, with a lady from a house opposite - told several dog walkers on the heath who were looking out on their way round but no one was looking for a dog that we could see. reported to the police, and all local vets.

This is my parent's dog thank you so much for reporting this as we had no idea what had happened, she returned to the Heath looking a bit shaken but continued her walk, it wasn't until she got home that we noticed she had a cut on her side. Took her to the vets who told us that it had been reported so found out what happened. Thankfully she didn't do too much damage to herself or anyone else.Thanks for looking out for her.
