- Not long finished speaking to one very happy owner who did a fantastic job getting Rinty back. Thanks TerenceT for contacting them today. :)
This is one success story that the MICROCHIP has worked its MAGIC once again. WELL DONE to her family for getting her chipped and not giving up on Rinty.
As they arrived home in the car Rinty went mad and definitely knew where she was. She has settled down really well and still looks like a puppy. Family will send a REUNITED photo a.s.a.p.
Sending lots of hugs and cuddles to Rinty and look forward to what she looks like now. Jan x - 2011-07-19 16:39 *Amber*

- I have just spoken to Rinty's owners. Rinty is back home with them. The police it seems weren't much help and owners had to use civil court to get her returned.
Can she be moved to "the blue". - 2011-07-19 07:55 TerenceT
- I do hope the real owners of Rinty have gone to the police. The whole point of microchipping is so a dog's ownership can be proved. If this was a car in the wrong hands the police would seize it and return it to the rightful owners. I hope the owner can persuade them to act here.
Hoping for a good news update from them. - 2011-03-27 18:31 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- Owner is still following this up and will not give up until Rinty is back WHERE SHE BELONGS.
Please if you have her do the right thing and contact her owner, they have never stopped looking for Rinty.
If you found her which Dog Warden etc did you report her to?
Apparently the person who has Rinty has not had her since she went missing she is supposed to have been with them within the passed few weeks.
It is great that she was MICROCHIPPED as this has helped owner find out that she is with someone. Jan x

- Have spoken to owner and given advice, Rinty is not registered with Petlog but another Chip Company. I am currently at Crufts and have spoken to Petlog today who have been very helpful. From what owner has found out Rinty has not been with the current owner for the 4 years plus she has been missing. Jan x

- At least the owners know what has happened to her but hope it can be resolved if they do want to get her back, 4 years is a long time!!

- Just to confirm that the west branch received Rinty's details and will check the refuge on friday when I attend. Tomorrow (as they are shut now), I'll contact the south lakes branch of ACC in case Rinty has been handed in there. Fingers crossed that she is found safe and sound soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I do believe I may have seen Rinty yesterday lunchtime when walking my dog-it's unusual for a dog to be out by itself here, I didn't recognise it and it certainly had three white paws-it was outside 1 Park Road heading up towards the park. I'll keep a look out for it......... Well done Shelly after e mailing local guest houses the anbove reply came back-Have passed on news to owners. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Jayne My vet is in Keswick, about 20 miles away from where Rinty went missing. I have the poster printed now and plan on laminating it. Hope to get the poster in the surgery tomorrow. It's a very busy surgery with owners bringing their dogs in from all over Cumbria.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
