- I shared this on my facebook page, which I then advertised (trying to find my Millie) & it has reached over 20,000 people. If you have his kennel name you may be able to find his chip that way.
- 2015-03-23 19:32 BorderCol
- I am sure you have searched everywhere but is there any chance at all that he has squeezed under decking or gone under or behind something that has fallen and concealed him? A neighbour once lost a large drake which was somehow underneath an upturned metal bath.

- Looking forward to hamish getting home safe and sound xx

- Bumped due to possible sighting this morning on Porton Rd Amesbury

- Hamish is still missing, and it transpires he may have had a microchip from his breeder many years ago, but when the current owner inherited Hamish from her Mother there was no paper work and no further thought at the time was given to it. She is going to try and trace any records of it.

- I shared this on Facebook but the photo didnt come out (as far as I can see) so Ive added a photo above the post. Could be a glitch, but if people are sharing this you want them to be sharing the listing with his picture on. Or is it just my facebook? https://www.facebook.com/missingwestiemillie?ref=hl

- Have just shared this on my 'Has Anyone seen Millie' facebook page (which currently has 1690 likes). Just unbelievable someone would do this, if only you could get to the CCTV to get images of the person with him.

- Bumped in light of sightings now reported. Hope the news brings Hamish home soon x

- I have been told by the admins of Found in Wilts fb group and confirmed by Karen of County Pet Services that there were 3 sightings of Hamish on Friday in the village. No sightings since. The owner has been doing leaflet drops, started a FB page and has been out searching, and will be out again tomorrow. I understand the last sighting was between the Stonehendge inn and the small sainsburys which is Stonehendge Rd on Friday but I do not have a time.

- I hope you have some news soon Suzy. I'm not familiar with your area but have you let any local vets, shops, pubs, schools, taxi companies and the like know Hamish is missing? Pop some posters up anywhere where people congregate.

- And yes reported to police, dog warden, RSPCA, any missing dog sites I can find, I'll try anywhere
- 2015-03-14 21:10 suzysmithson
- Thankyou all very much for your help and advice. Hamish is my dog, I've had him for 18 years and I'll do anything to get him back or find out what happened to him. He went missing from our garden on the Ham in Durrington, Wiltshire during the night on 12th/13th March. He has a dog flap giving access to the garden and simply vanished. No gates were open, the garden was totally secure, yet he was gone. I can't think anyone would want to steal an incontinent 18 year old dog so I'm desperate to find out what happened to him, and get him back. Whether good news or bad I'm offering a cash reward for his return. Thankyou for caring, Suzy

- Sorry to see that HAMISH is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (84143)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
