- Hi, yes she fine, more than a bit nervous now, she is petrified of people and cars again but we will overcome that again in time, no other injuries or anything, overwhelmed with the help and response she got through this site and social media, thank you x

- Sighting early this morning by friend of daughter and it looks like Toots is heading home. Still giving Lisa advice at each stage and if sightings are Toots then all going according to plan. I was going up to track next week if Toots was not home but fingers crossed that I wont need to.

- I wish I lived nearer to help. When you go to work can she get inside anywhere if she returns home? sometimes dogs return home during the night, if it is possible to leave a bed somewhere dry on your property that she knows and can get into if she returns when you aren't there...also food and water would help...it would encourage her to stay and wait. Good luck, I do hope you find her very soon...it's heartbreaking to know she's out there scared poor little girl.

- im trying to leaflet too but only so many hrs in a day and search, posters plus my other dogs and work it would take me all year to leaflet every other house in the village, but we are doing as many as we can, trying to poster all over as quicker than door to door but have had a couple of people helping and they have door to door for me in the line we think she ran in but got nothing back yet :(
- 2015-03-18 18:27 Jan.Petsearchuk
- You're doing all the right things, keep it up...hopefully she'll come out of hiding..have you put posters through letterboxes in the area - even if you do every other house...someone may have found her and want to keep her!!
- 2015-03-18 13:26 LisaK
- Im walking her son and other poodle in the area, plus clothing going down tonight once dark, plus her homemade smelly treats she will know, walking home leave a trail just got to get a firm sighting so we know we are int he right area as still not 100%

- Recently someone lost two Labradors, she walked along the fields where she normally exercised the dogs and no sight of them, when she walked back they both appeared so obviously they must have been close by when she past before...just to show you that she may still be close by where you are but just too scared to appear.
- 2015-03-18 08:56 Jan.Petsearchuk
- Can you put some of your clothing in a bed in the area where she's been seen, also some of her normal food? I've heard that having a BBQ in the area will sometimes bring a hungry dog out of hiding. Has she got a doggy friend who you could take out with you to look, sometimes they'll come to a familiar doggy face when they won't approach a human (even their owner when they are scared). Good luck, thinking of you. Pleased you are keeping us updated.

- possible sighting 24 hrs ago but not found yet, not 100% it was Toots as was dark but small dog ran for it life when scared by a bigger dog and area would fit so we are searching that sort of area till any other sightings. Jenny has been great, im back from despair and till printing flyers at midnight, if she is out there I will find her! getting more and more local support and someone has even got her a feature on the local papers website, hoping it will make the paper this week too :)
- 2015-03-17 19:48 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- I have given owner some advice and it seems that she has just had a possible sighting reported. Fingers crossed. Toots deserves to be home.

- Any news? Thinking of you.
Dogs can be very resourceful, lets hope she will have found a safe place. xxLast edited: 2015-03-17 16:52:30 by BorderCollies - 2015-03-17 12:36 LisaK
- She is all over FB, all the local sites plus star radio, new posters going up nightly plus local taxi company now carrying her poster, im really doing all i can but it takes time off me out searching :( spoke to DW again, frind works at WGreen so that should be covered, not sure what other kennels takes strays and none are local enough to be able to visit daily
- 2015-03-17 08:40 Jan.Petsearchuk
- And keep checking that the posters are still up...sometimes idiots take pleasure in taking them down. Keep checking the rescue kennels, go and look don't rely on phoning...actually look, I've known of several rescue kennels say a dog isn't there when it actually has been so you really need to keep looking, just because she isn't at the rescue one day doesn't mean she won't be there the next day or even later in the day. Keep flooding facebook with her photograph and details. I haven't seen it on facebook at all other than what I've put on...has she got her own page on there....many dogs have been found through facebook, you have to make her too hot to handle.
- 2015-03-17 08:26 BorderCollies
- How far has been postered? Maybe she left the area, when she was chased. Or when she was called she got scared? How about a picture in a local paper or contacting a local radio station?

- Please don't give up on Toots, dogs have been found weeks, months and years after going missing, at least she's microchipped. Poodles are my breed, I adore them and I hope she'll soon be found safely. Have you given posters to schools, pubs, taxi and bus services, under windscreens of cars, milkmen & window cleaners, newspaper delivery people - people who go around your area on a regular basis ...make her too hot to handle...keep putting her on facebook with her photograph...and keep updating us on her of your efforts, it helps people to know she's still missing...good luck!
- 2015-03-15 14:53 LisaK
- Dont know where else to search, everyone i bump into has seen posters or FB sites so all aware but still nothing, not one report :( please keep sharing her as we are distraught

- Too far away to be practical help Lisa k but trying to whip up local contacts via Facebook. You need a missing poster on all the selling/free etc Facebook groups and people to keep it bumped.
