Update from owner - Bracken is still missing

Hi Veronica, Bracken could have been described as a Greyhound, but I am also not convinced about the markings. I will show my husband when he comes in and see if he can recognise better.. Thanks x

Not convinced about chest markings though and is described as a greyhound.

Sorry Lesley Brown, we had already checked this dog out, even phoned Leighs dog rescue, but no she isn't Bracken. After the one sighting of Bracken on the 31st there have been no other sightings of her xx

Woke up to a phone call that a Lurcher was seen on Bar Lane, Nottingham early hours of this morning. Have got family searching that area now , fingers crossed x

The crucial thing is to poster everywhere. Shops, filling stations, parks. Take a poster to the sorting office so the posties know about her. Talk to anyone who is out and about e.g. crossing patrol and recycling workers, milk delivery. Looking at the satellite map, there are a lot of green areas not too far away so poster on footpaths. Hand flyers out to dog walkers. Get on to the local community sites e.g. street life.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk

• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
