Quote HERE IT IS! THE NEWS YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! After 10 weeks on the loose Louise is now safely back in our care. We want to say massive thanks to the game keeper, Will who finally managed to capture her. She has been living in a wood on private land which is why we couldn't ask for helpers. He has been watching her every day and waiting to catch her. She went missing because a stray cat got into her house and it frightened her and she bolted through the door. She is extremely timid having originally been rescued from a house where a man was keeping 38 dogs. She is having a vet check today and has had a nice meal and in a few months she will be looking for a forever home. Thank you to everyone - staff, volunteers and friends of the Sanctuary who gave up hours of their own time to search for her. Thank you to everyone who has asked after her and shared our posts. We are so delighted she is safe and well.

Posting on Carla Lane site today saying that many people are asking if Louise is still on the loose. She is still OK but evading capture. They said there will be a huge post when she is caught.

Thanks J MO have not had time to reply to your last txt just got off the phone to Jayne HQ.

The gamekeeper is being brilliant and will help with a trap etc. The area is very safe for her to be in. Only Carla Lane staff and owner should be going to the area now and they will be liaising directly with the gamekeeper.

Have been in touch with Carla Lane Rescue where LOUISE came from and HELPERS and OWNER are in the area now of the reported sighted. If LOUISE can stay in the area she is it may be ideal now to look into a trap and feeding routines.

CROSS POSTED: Lou has been seen in the same place (back of skem police station and surrounding fields) around 5 times now she's been seen twice today and is looking ok! But I need her safe and back home where she is warm and safe with a full belly!
