Wonderful news, I wish all lost dogs could be found as quickly....though I don't suppose it seemed very quick to the owner!! I hope she's OK after her escapade.

REUNITED! They have found her! Mimi had run down into a cul-de-sac where someone managed to catch her and the owners have now been reunited with her Phew! She seems to be ok but I have recommended that she is taken to a vet to make sure.

I have been out looking having a look but no sign of her yet.
On my return I got a message saying that Mimi was seen running along Wishing Tree Road at about school time. However, when owners are still out looking and say they think they have seen her crossing over from Blackman Avenue into Ashbrook Rd. If this was Mimi then it sounds as though she is making her way back to St Helen's Road area which is where she was lost from.
Hoping they catch sight of her again.

Between where I live and where Mimi was last seen, there is quite a large area of woodland off Battle Rd. If she is very nervous, she may come out of hiding late at night when all is quiet. I will take a quiet walk around there about midnight, phone in hand.

I have spoken to Mimi's owner and she has been missing since early afternoon when she was scared by some other dogs in the park.. She then ran on to the road in St Helen's Rd area but was seen at about 2pm by some lorry drivers. They said it looked as though she may have been hit by a car but kindly showed her owner where she was seen running away .. which was by Arthur Blackman Clinic. After making enquiries her owners say that the hairdressers also saw Mimi and said she was running very fast up Battle Road. Mimi is very scared of people and is not likely to come to anyone other than her owner so if you see her please just try to watch where she goes and contact owners on tel number above as soon as possible. It's quite possible that Mimi will be hiding up by now.
Hoping this little girl is ok and can be found soon.
I have advised to put posters up asap in and to go looking in the area last seen now as it is a little quieter.
