You could put the story of Lady as missing on local radio Mix 96. Go to their website and I believe you can put up an alert for her.

Hi there,
another Cavalier went missing on the same day from her home in the afternoon in Hemel Hempstead and she was found today in Essex (thanks to lots of people sharing the page) so we think there may be a possibility of theft so I just wanted to let you know in case the same has happened to you. Hope you find Lady soon x

She could have gone over towards the Berryfields housing estate, so a few posters over there wouldn't hurt. A work colleague lives there so I will ask him to look out for her too x
Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
Also worth seeing if Tesco at Broadfields (inc petrol garage), McDonalds, Homebase, recycling centre etc would display posters. Really is a matter of letting the world and his army know so that sightings will hopefully start coming in. I can put a poster up at Hampden vets at Watermead and will keep a lookout too x

I live close by and so will keep a lookout when walking plus help spread the word to other dog walkers I see. I do the Riverside Walk daily, so will get posters up around there.

Hi, if you have not already done so, please telephone the Dog Warden especially for the Aylesbury area and let her know that Lady is missing. You could also telephone the Vets in the area Hampden Vets (Aylesbury)01296 423666 and they can possibly alert Fairford Leys and other local branches. You could also alert the big Pet shop with Vet attached near to Mothercare on the outskirts of town next door to Staples. Apologies the name escapes me! Also alert Aston Clinton Vets on 01296 630326 just in case she has been picked up over this way. The more posters you can put up the better. Alert the various pubs around Quarrendon as well. If you do not have access to a printer you can use Staples next to the pet shop at very reasonable cost. I have also alerted a friend who lives just that bit nearer to the area. Also, check with neighbours she may have sneaked into their gardens, sheds or garages. You could put a post/paper in their doors asking them to check their outbuildings etc. Ask the local postmen. Take a poster down to the Royal Mail Sorting Office (SO) in Aylesbury and they will at least be able to keep an eye out whilst on rounds/collection. If you can't get to the SO put a couple of posters in the post boxes near you with a short note on it asking them to keep in touch. If you have any houses up for sale near you ask the agent if he can keep a poster in his/her car just in case they are meeting up with potential buyers near your property.xLast edited: 2015-03-30 18:44:01 by ClaireC

Sorry to see that LADY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (84837)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
