WOW:)) Great news. BIG well done to Lorry driver and everyone involved.
Welcome home Lucky Tallulah.xx
DogLostOwl
Yes indeed. Fields, streams, woodland and the reservoir to explore, and she had to pick the M1 as a playground. Thank you for going to search in the rain, glad you got the news early on, TillynTess. It was well muddy yesterday and will be slippery today.Last edited: 2015-04-03 20:44:09 by Owl

We had just set off to expand the search on your trail Owl. We hadn't even reached the bridle path when the chip company rang Tallulah's owner. Bless that lorry driver!

Yayyyy, so pleased. She is so distinctive I thought she'd be easily recognised. So happy x
Wolf
I am genuinely overjoyed! Hopefully she is in reasonable health after her ordeal and not too stressed out about the whole incident.

Looked p animal heaven, is it the place in Scunthorpe? Where have they posted it?

Hi, i realise this is a long shot but Animal Heaven has posted a photo on Facebook of a Spaniel that looks quite like Tallulah. It might be worth contacting them???

Ive been unavoidably out of touch since this afternoon. Is it too late to organise a search for tomorrow do you think? I'll be up at ulley from about 8:00 but anytime tomorrow is fine. Say from midday? What do you all think?

I had better leave it to Barnacle to explain exactly where we went as I haven't worked it out on the map yet. I was too busy reading my dog. But in brief, Wispa worked intensely for an hour and a half before we decided she was losing concentration and needed to finish for the time being. It seems that Tallulah followed a track through fields on to a minor road then headed down another footpath which eventually came out on to the Morthen road. She continued to Whiston, and we lost the scent there and decided to head back. But then we picked up a much fresher scent which led us down another path through fields and over a stile to join a path running beside a brook which came out at Ulley Reservoir. We followed this up to the bridge which cuts through the middle, and that is where my dog Wispa started to get mentally tired, and we headed back through the village. We did not hit any scent in the village itself. We had gone round a big anti clockwise circuit which is what dogs out on their own usually do. Ulley area is very quiet and we only saw a couple of people on the footpaths. Tallulah could well be circling the village unnoticed. There is plenty of cover. Last edited: 2015-04-02 13:41:36 by Owl

Thanks wolf , we'll organise a group search for tomorrow or Saturday now we have something to go on from today's tracking
Wolf
Sorry we kept getting cut off this morning. I sincerely hope the tracking attempt goes well, everything is crossed for you.
Barnacle
Thanks for the response to this. I had another good hack round today but no sign. I've searched a lot of hedges etc, but i cant do that much on my own. Looking forward to seeing Owl's dog do its stuff.
DogLostOwl
Yes, it would be good to have a group search. I will be taking my dog first thing tomorrow to try and find a trail. Hoping that will give us a direction and some information to help with a search.
TillynTess
I think a group search would be a good idea. As she was wearing a coat, it's possible she could have got tangled up in undergrowth. Lots of fields and hedgerows to search where she went missing. When would be good for everyone?
Barnacle
Thanks, have already seen that one. Unfortunately not ours. Hope it's owner is found soon.
hbrandson
Please search Animal Heaven Animal Rescue on Facebook. Chocolate and white matching description though pos too young. Found injured. Unsure where but please look anyway. Good luck xxx
Barnacle
Thanks everyone. There's still no news. If you ring the mobile number my husband has some posters printed that he can drop off.
