- Very pleased there has been a sighting. It is not unknown for a terrier to get lost in a sett or warren and come out on a different level, then become disoriented.

- Hello all. Day 12 and still no sign of Phoebe. We continue to search every day and have had massive support locally and nationally. Local papers and radio have run the story, so we really have had great support. We have also done a sweep of the area involving many people. The woods are well walked and we really think that if she was still around, she would have been seen by now. I am increasingly thinking she may have gone down a badger sett as there are some massive holes at Killerton. Either that or she has been picked up/stolen by someone. Does anyone know realsitically how long a dog could survive underground? Thanks for the tip about K9 search dogs - we have been in touch with them and they may be able to help if there was a confirmed sighting, but so far we haven't had this. Thanks for phoning Fiona, it was good to talk to someone who had been through the same experience (and heartache!) We are trying to stay positive, but OI must say it is getting harder and harder. Joss

- Has the owner contacted Dartmoor bases K9 Search Dogs to see if they can help track Phoebe? http://www.k9searchdog.org/contactform.html

- Can you get some people to do an organised search of the whole area? Then if she's hiding out somewhere you might flush her out. Also have you been advised that a barbecue is a good way of getting a dog to appear as the smell can draw them out. You can get a cheap disposable and throw some burgers or sausages on it. Good luck Joss. Hope you're keeping ok x

- Phoebe is still missing. Please don't stop keeping an eye out for her. We have put her bed and some clothing and bedding at the spot we last saw her and we visit everyday. Support from local people has been amazing and I am also going to try to get the local papers involved. Time is going on and Phoebe will have been missing for a week tomorrow, but we are still hopeful. Keep your fingers crossed for Phoebe. Joss x

- Thanks for your help everyone. We did have a check at the travellers site, but there were no dogs there that were Phoebe. I am going to try K9 search dogs, but dont hold out much hope as we haven't had an actual sighting yet. Will also register with the Border Terrier lost and found group, who i diodn't know existed, so thanks for that. Joss

- Hi,Have had a look at the facebook post again re the travellers site. It has all got very confused this morning (and to be honest all a bit nasty!). The post is now saying that South West Equine Protection took away two horses yesterday and that RSPCA have been contacted about dogs. I apologise if I have misled anyone but I saw the post on facebook last night around 11pm and overnight and many (vitriolic) posts later from people...... There is a lady from Bradninch who dog walks all aorund Killerton and if I can find her posts on Facebook I will alert her to look out for Phoebe.

- I will send all the advice I can think of to you Jo. Badgers have young in their sets now so there are some rules about it.

- Hello all, yes Phoebe was lost near Killerton House in the woods at the top of the hill. We have walked the area extensively and put posters around the area. We are concerned that she may have entered a badger sett as their is a lot of badger activity in the woods. Does anyone have any advice if this is the case? Thanks, Joss

- Sorry to see that PHOEBE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (84931)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
