- Saw lovely Luna with her owners daughter in Bushy Park today and recognised her! Apparently she had been found after two hours! I asked her to update Luna's status. It is so important that owners remember to do this or people will continue to look for missing pets. Happy ending anyway!

- could someone give above number a text and see if she is still missing

- I have not seen her owner in the park, so either Luna is still missing, or if found she has decided to exercise Luna in a different location, away from deer.

- When I saw Luna she was travelling at some speed, and covered a lot of land, when I saw the owner about 45mins later and explained what I had seen, due to her English not being too good, the details got confused. As she had my mobile number from the past, I would have hoped that she would have rung me by now to tell me any news. She doesn't know I've posted this, unfortunately I do not have her number.

- Thanks for the info. has Luna's owner contacted the Parks police & rangers? The Pheasantry turn off is on the opposite side of Chestnut Ave & quite a way from Sandy Lane (Hampton Wick area).
Any sightings since 1330?Last edited: 2015-04-03 23:46:36 by Julie Dogs - 2015-04-03 22:52 xavidx
- I saw Luna around 13:30 chasing deer across the main road from the slip road to the pheasantry car park .....she was running towards the Hampton Wick gate I think, as I had my dog with me and they are great mates I thought I would be able to lure her to me.
But I lost sight of her, but kept on looking for about an hour. I then headed back home to Hampton Hill, where I saw Luna's owner, and I told her what I had seen, and told her where I last saw her dog.
I do hope that Luna is found as she is a adorable puppy, who is normally really well behaved. - 2015-04-03 22:02 Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer

- So sorry to read this. I was in Bushy Park this morning (Woodland / Hampton Hill side) and didn't see any deer, so presume this must have happened in the main part / Hampton Court side?
This is the time of year when the females are about to give birth and the female deer become VERY aggressive and protect the herd of females.
I sincerely hope that Luna is found safely and will look for her when I am there tomorrow. Am tweeting to park users / cyclists / dog walkers Teddington / Hampton / Twickenham area.
Tomorrow is another Bushy Park Fun Run so there will be a great many people in the Park.
It would be helpful to know exactly what part of Bushy Park she was last seen in.Last edited: 2015-04-03 19:53:07 by Julie Dogs - 2015-04-03 19:11 AlisonH
