- Could this be the dog belonging to a walker who was air lifted to hospital after being injured? As far as I know the persons dog hasn't yet been found.

- They are more common than you would think, at least in West Wales where I used to live. I met a few huntaways and kelpies on farms.

- 74749 Rex. Has somebody emailed pic to rex owners. There can't be that many 'huntaways' in Wales.

- Any further sightings? Just to add a word of caution but if a trap (humane ir otherwise) is going to be used in the future then it should NOT be left unattended and must be overseen at ALL times. There is also other wildlife to consider. Last edited: 2015-04-10 18:50:57 by ClaireC

- I am wondering if this poor soul is a New Zealand Huntaway I have shared to our NZH facebook page - they are working dogs for sheep and cattle just wondering if he has originally come from a farm. So sorry I am too far away to help but will keep sharing and praying he is soon able to be caught and brought to safety. J. x

- Thanks Zah for registering the details on DogLost. I've added another photo of this boy into the Poster Image box which I've also cropped to bring him closer. Have put his breed as Rottie or GSD type.

A local rescue have been helping but it is going to take a lot of time and patience for someone to rescue him. If the area is safe from roads he can survive. Such a shame a trap was stolen, they always need 24hr surveillance unless in an area no-one goes or is allowed on the land.
Thanks a million to everyone who is helping and rooting for him to be rescued and safe soon. - 2015-04-05 14:45 Debbie
