Lovely photo, stay safe girls :)
Wonderous
Exactly Inge all the people that loves their dogs would pay a ransom but, as you say it will just fuel the thieves to steal more dogs. Lets hope they can be caught. So glad they are both home :-)
digbysmum
Brilliant news. Welcome home lovely Skye and Ruby - stay very safe now xxxx
Inge
I can fully understand why a reward was agreed, all I'd want is my girl home. But doesn't this make a good option for dogs that are "too hot to handle" as clearly these two babies were? I wonder if there's any DNA evidence that would find the culprits and stop them terrorising other families. At least these two are safely back home and have been cared for in the meantime
Happiness yorkie lover xxx
Great news x hope they will now be indoor dogs and not kenneled xxxx

We are eternally grateful for all the help we have received, there's no doubt that it is the sole reason we have them home. We will do everything we can to help other people find their lost and stolen pets. Love from the Pearce Family xxx

Please can everyone in this area keep an eye out: I have received the following message.
"I have just driven on A14 from Bury St Edmunds to Elmswell, Suffolk and seen 2 Springers running on the embankment nr junction 43 (I think. Sugar factory exit). They were very dirty but one was white and brown/black the other either all black or dark brown" This was around 2.30-3.45pm Today, 8th April, please keep a look out in case they are ours or someone elses

Hi PFB1979, We've found all of the information, the Carol Wilkey post is not our dogs and the same for the ones in Warrington. We've tracked down the local vet post and this is good to know as this is really close to us, it's possible they are link.

Thank you again, so much for keeping an eye out for us.
Irgpearce
Hi PFB1979, thank you so much for your help. We're still trying to find your post, there's so much activity it's quite hard to keep track of every notification. The vet link is particularly interesting. If you're able to send a link that would be amazing, but we'll keep looking.
PFB1979
Just did quick search in lunch break, brought up on Animal Wardens.co.uk two female springer spaniels found 06/04/2015 in Warrington 0161 297 0268 ref. 359918 and 359919...possibly long shot
PFB1979
Hi - have now added to FB as a post to your Bring home Skye and Ruby page...has now reached 2.5k comments...so may take some time to go through but the original post about Stockhill is on there...somewhere. I have also added a link to a vets which shared your story but has also been informed of a attempted theft of a gundog in Layham, Suffolk this morning...possibly a gang going around?
PFB1979
Hi Sorry not to get back to your until now -unfortunately I could not find the original comment that Carol Wilkey was referring too. Spent two hours looking through comments but being at the 1.4k mark it was a slow trawl i'm afraid. I googled to see if anyting else brought up dogs found in Stockhill but nothing came up i'm afraid and i'm unsure where Stockhill would be? If you friend request me I can share the post I saw Carol Wilkey's comment to your wall...or maybe I can do that from my newsfeed to your page set up?...I shall try. You may have better luck from a PC going through the comments as I was doing on my phone and not much coverage at work. I will show as Kelly Ann Worship on your FB page.Last edited: 2015-04-08 14:18:43 by PFB1979

Hi PFB1979 could you let me know if you have any further information from Carol Wilkey? We've sent her a friend request on FB, but can't see any further details? We've heard from Naomi Geddes and have been texting her, it's sounding unlikely that her sightings are the girls. We're getting lots of contacts and have been out searching this afternoon, having had a tip off, but still nothing official so far...

Bless you Helen will go there and share xx

I have contacted the owners with a possible sighting in Wiltshire - I am a long way away from where these dogs went missing but may have seen them today. I don't want to raise any false hope as I am a long way away, but couldn't ignore what I saw today with two dogs so like these two. I so hope they are reunited soon. I have spread the word via my facebook friends and will spread the word with my dog walking friends tomorrow and keep a watch out again. Don't want to take eyes off more local searching nearer where they went missing from.Last edited: 2015-04-06 20:41:03 by MajorRockyV

I have cropped photo and also removed registration number of Land Rover. Good advice from Debs .. make these girls too hot to handle. Posters absolutely everywhere and anywhere. Ask everyone you know to share on Facebook and Tweet too. Good luck. Last edited: 2015-04-06 15:47:56 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

I am so sorry to read this. I remember a similar situation where 2 spaniels were stolen in essex last year and there was lots of coverage and they were found. They were listed on dog lost and are now in the reunited section ID number 62517. It may be an idea to give the owner of those spaniels a call as he may also be able to assist you. I have just looked it up and his name is gary and there are 2 phone numbers on reunited page 62517. I pray you find your beautiful dogs soon x
Debs
Let's get these babies famous!! Cross post them EVERYWHERE and poster far and wide!
Irgpearce
Thank you, we really appreciate it. We just can't get our heads around it.
Fawn
So sorry, have shared for you. Fingers crossed they are found soon.

I am so sorry they have done this to you!! They stole our baby so I do know how you feel...

If you haven't got one get a Crime number (not a log number)

As much coverage, posters etc as you can get....We got local papers to run Pup....

Hang in there and will share and keep an eye out but sending you a hope that both Sky and Ruby will be found soon. xxx
