- Update from Molly's grateful owner:
"Hi everyone. Once again Thank you all so much. Sorry its taken me so long to update but computer problems. Molly went to the vet and her main injury is a damaged front pad. Its not serious and she is on pain killers and rest. Other injuries are superficial cuts and grazes which just need time. She had a very waggy tail when I opened the door for her and is eating well. At the moment she is snoring her head off next to me in bed! I have never walked so far in my life but would do it all again for my special girl, Molly. You're all angels and bless you all for your concern and for sharing my beautiful girl. From Molly and me THANK YOU"

- Whoo hoo! I said to Molly's owner that as she had come home once she would probably come home again when it was quieter and at first light. Molly did just that and I got a text at 5.45 saying that she was home! Well done Molly!
She has a couple of cuts and a graze under her chin and a slight limp but otherwise seems fine. She will be going to the vet to be checked out later on.
Stay safe now Molly! Last edited: 2015-04-07 06:25:49 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-04-06 22:46 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Network Rail have been contacted and they are aware that Molly is lost in the area. They have informed the station and the train drivers. They have also sent some guys out to search. Thank you to them.
I have emailed owner and sent Doglost advice as well as sharing to Doglost East Sussex, Doglost South East and my pages on Fbk. Molly is also on Brighton Dogwatch page which will be a big help and they already have a lot of shares from there .. thanks!
Update: I have had a chat with Molly's mum and she has been out searching till the early hours. The family have already done everything that we would advise and I'm hoping that Molly will come back home again by the morning.
Molly lives in the Kings Road area of Lancing.
Molly was initially lost from the Downs and then she ran all the way home but unfortunately ran off again.
She was seen later on the Grinstead Lane bridge and she was travelling back in the direction of home.
Stay safe Molly. Last edited: 2015-04-07 01:42:03 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-04-06 22:10 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks Justine and ejntaylor. You can contact Molly's owner on the number above. If you are unable to get her then maybe you would help by putting posters up in the area.
I have been given information that says Molly was lost this morning and that she made her own way home, miraculously crossing the A27, but then the neighbour tried to catch her and she ran off again. Someone sighted her on the road bridge across the railway(?), saw her running off through traffic.Last edited: 2015-04-07 00:33:11 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-04-06 21:50 ejntaylor
