- Great news ! All thanks to that observant and caring woman in Kent who had a scanner. Brings hope to others.
It is concerning that Millie suffered from fits which wouldn't have been treated whilst she was stolen and I hope she is okay?
Unfortunately the FB video seems to only be available to FB members.
Welcome back little Millie. - 2016-07-12 12:13 Rocco

- Whoooo hoooo!!!!
So happy to be able to let you all know that Millie is home! Yes, she has been reunited with her owner after being stolen on 5th April 2015!
An amazing lady who helps find dogs in the Kent area found Millie in Sittingbourne and scanned her for a microchip. When it came up as stolen she told the people who had her that the dog had been stolen and that she was taking her. She phoned Millie's owner last night and told her she had her dog. After intial disbelief Millie's mum arranged to go and collect her. Millie recognised her straight away and although she is thin she seems to be ok.
After a very happy reunion last night Millie has had a bath and treatment to get rid of the fleas she had all over her and is now receiving all the tlc she deserves. Millie was very happy to be reunited with her pal Frank who was found some time ago.
Many, many thanks to the lady who found Millie and got her back to her mum :)
Love a happy ending! (photo of Millie and a new pal on page .. you may need to refresh the page to see it. Video of reunion with Frank https://www.facebook.com/sara.coull.3/videos/10206566664150853/ )Last edited: 2016-07-12 11:59:07 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2016-05-14 12:03 *

- Does anyone know what area in Thamesmead Frank was found?
Copied from Frank's DL page:- Sara the owner of Frank and Millie who says that someone in Thamesmead has found Frank today. He is in safe hands and she is on the way up there to collect him. Apparently Millie was seen by the same person who caught Frank and Sara is goin to try and catch her when she arrives up in Thamesmead. - 2015-05-06 14:43 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks Mollychops. Let's hope it helps to get Millie home.

- Have just had a message to say that Frank is home safe now.
Well done to Sara for making him too hot to handle.
Unfortunately no good news about Millie yet as she has not been found although person who found Frank is sure it was her running around with the other dogs she saw.
Really hoping that Millie will be home very soon. - 2015-05-05 21:58 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Couldn't agree more springermad.
I must just say that Frank and Millie's owner has difficulties getting on the site to comment as reception and internet very poor in her area.
However, having spoken to her and being in touch with her regularly since Frank and Millie were stolen I know she has taken all our advice seriously and has been making her dogs too hot to handle. She has also been checking out the selling sites daily.
Being that we now know both of Sara's dogs are so far out of our area (nearly 60 miles away) we can only assume that they have been dumped after being too hot to handle.
It goes to show that owners should never, ever give up.
Hoping to get good news soon and will update when I hear anything :)

- Gosh, it just shows how dogs can travel out of our area, and we need to be on the lookout in all areas, not just our own. Last edited: 2015-05-05 21:17:26 by SpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex

Apparently Millie was seen by the same person who caught Frank and Sara is goin to try and catch her when she arrives up in Thamesmead. I have emailed our Doglost advice on this in case it helps but she has her other dog that was not stolen with her so hopefully Millie will go straight to them.
I have got EVERYTHING crossed that Sara is able to catch Millie!!
Will await any further news and update as soon as possible. - 2015-04-22 19:04 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

- I have spoken to Frank and Millie's owner.
There were 3 dogs in the horsebox .. 2 went missing, presumed stolen as there was no way that they could have got out on their own. Although it's possible that someone opened the door on the horsebox and they ran off before they could have been picked up. However, I think it's best to make them TOO HOT TO HANDLE as they may have been stolen.
Dog Wardens have been notified and local vets. Posters have been put up, owners have been and are still searching for Frank and Millie with their other dog that was not lost. They were going to give us an update on here but can't log in. (I have suggested they email admin to try to sort it)
I have shared to Doglost East Sussex, Doglost South East and lots of Fbk pages for lost dogs in the area and also to horse pages. Local farmers have been told that the 2 dogs are missing as have the few households in the area.
There was a possible sighting yesterday and owners went to look but no luck.
I would suggest posters should go to Jasmine Tea Room, the Garden Centre and Willow Cafe in Lower Dicker if not already there. Also to the Village Shop and the Plough pub in Upper Dicker. Might be a good idea to put posters outside the 2 schools there as well (Bede's Senior School and Park Mead) as children are good at spotting dogs.
If they are running around let's hope they stay away from the A22. I have advised that local Highways Dept should be informed.
Hope Frank and Millie are found soon. Last edited: 2015-04-09 03:17:36 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-04-07 15:24 Gino
