I too have a lhasa apso so really hope you get her back very very quickly. I'm sure she will have been taken in by someone as I can't believe anybody seeing a small cute dog would leave it loose. Missy has very distinctive marking so 'plaster' the area with posters and put adverts in as many 'free mags' or local papers. Someone will have seen her! Any helpers in the area need to poster area a.s.a.p. Lamposts, entrances to parks, handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers, vets, ask postie, milkmen, binmen, petshops, schools etc. Put A4 poster in car windows. Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
