- Just spoke to the dog warden and sadly Pie's petlog details don't match with the details of the found dog, also the dog is believed to be older than Pie. Thanks to everyone for your continued interest and hope for Pie, it means a lot. Just wish it had been her π’.

- I have contacted the dog warden and am waiting for them to call me back to see if they have the same microchip details.

- Fergal - have also emailed Pie's owner with link to the found 91946 and the facebook post on DOGLOST CORNWALL. Maxine has also commented on facebook post " I have left a message on the owners home number, asking to check ( they may be away), but Pie is microchipped, so hopefully if they have found a chip on this one, they will be notified."
Update (14:15) - Owner has seen my email and will contact Dog Warden re Found 91946.Last edited: 2015-09-12 14:26:56 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2015-09-11 20:30 Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall

- It was all very vauge I am afraid....We were postering for Tess the black sproker and originally he thought it might be her but then said it looked like a lurcher type. We did go straight back but sadly saw no dog and couldn't find anyone who had.
I should have asked you before but will put in a Thunderclap for your baby if thats ok for you? It may not bring you news but they do get a lot better known.
Keep postering that area my friend and got everything crossed you will soon find her xx - 2015-07-08 17:46 G.Gilbey
- Thanks, let me know if you get any mor info about the dog they saw. pie is quite black but has a few grey whiskers and is quite smooth apart from her back legs, but she is young (3.5yrs)so her coat is still changing and who knows what it would be like after 3 months out in the wild.
- 2015-07-07 15:01 Seeks
- As Fergals said we did have this vague sighting relayed to us just after it had happened.
He said it might be Tess as it was smallish but was a lurcher type....Grey and fairly scruffy looking....
We went straight back (took about 10 mins I guess but couldn't find anyone or a dog. I got to g back over there tomorrow or Thursday so will try and find someone who saw the dog xx - 2015-07-07 14:45 Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall
- Seeks had a reported sighting of a grey lurcher type, looking unkempt or out a long time, when she was postering for Tess (87756) at Altarnum/Five Lanes yesterday. I think it was the garage on the A30 who told her (there is a back lane to it).Last edited: 2015-07-07 16:04:55 by Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall

- Fergal, I just checked out the Google map, and that's the entrance to the tea shop I referred to and they sell ice cream from Callestick. That's very near to where she disappeared and we have a poster there too and spoke to the owners a couple of times. Really appreciate everyone's suggestions though.i thought there was a glimmer of hope with the possible sighting but now it feels like we are back to square 1 π’
- 2015-04-19 16:27 G.Gilbey
- Fergal, thanks for your suggestion but I think Callestick Farm is on the south coast and she went missing on the north coast. We have spoken to the local Farmer and he says there are no hidden crevasses or mines et.c and put a poster up in the padstow Farm shop and spoke to them and the Trevone Farm shop and the tea shop near to where she went missing.
- 2015-04-19 12:20 Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall
- The only farm buildings on google nearby is Callestick Farm Cottage, Callestick, Truro TR4 9LL
01872 573126. Looking on google street view, they have a sign selling ice creams. Worth a poster and a call perhaps. (I have sent a poster link to their contact page).

- This is another link to the walk. Would it be worth trying to get in touch with the farmer/landowner as close to the area where Pie was last seen as possible? They may know of any areas where the ground splits, i.e. landslip, crevasse as does sometimes happen on the cliff tops but is often overgrown. Also have posters gone to Padstow Farm Shop, as the walk goes through it according to the write up on the link.

- It seems there was another black dog running around Pellew close, (called Marta) which someone reunited with owner, so it could have been that one. Am just trying to confirm whether she could have been mistaken for Pie.
Have just had confirmation back, that the dog did look similar to Pie, but finder said wasn't a lurcher. - 2015-04-18 16:30 Mollychops
- Great News ! Really hope its Pie.

- There was a possible sighting last night in the Pellew close area of Padstow. A lady has contacted the owner to say she thought it was Pie (although it had a maroon collar on & Pie didn't have one on). The owner has sent her another picture & she is sure it is her. I have advised that if she turns up again, to set up a feeding station (monitored) & owner is sending some items for scenting. Fingers crossed it is her & she shows herself again.
Will update fb pages with info too.
Will bump due to sighting. - 2015-04-17 23:26 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- I have spoken to owner, she knows someone who does the sea safari & is an RNLI member. He is going to keep a constant look out along the coast when he is on trips.
I have also sent an email with Pie's link to the cleansing dept in case any dog is washed up (just in case.
It is possible she may be trapped down a hole, as she is much smaller than a normal lurcher, is the size of a whippet.

- Thank you to local people helping with posters. There's already a poster at tesco's Padstow & Trevone farm shop are also on the case (message from Twitter) but tescos take posters down after a week so this will have to be replaced regularly or one put up somewhere close but off their premises. Hoping for a positive sighting soon.
Can owners contact all local oil firms, taxi's, buses, post workers, schools etc.
also it's a good idea to contact local papers in the area to get an article written asap (not sure what day they go to press) West Briton....what's the other local papers in the area?

- Have had a helper put a lot more posters up in the area & a little further afield. She also met a family while she was out looking, who are friends of the owners & they are keeping an eye out too :)
Have another helper dropping some posters off at Davidstowe cheese factory ( thanks Jenny & Tiga for that suggestion) - 2015-04-12 21:34 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- It is worth getting a poster to the security man on the gate at the Davidstow Cheese factory - they have been more than happy to give one to each driver as they go out and have sighted a number of missing dogs in the past across the fields as they sit high in their lorries.

- I have been in touch with George (owner) & they managed to stay another day. They have postered all the local shops/business's in area. They could still do with some help though if there is anyone in the Padstow area who is able to help.
I have asked on a lot of local fb pages for help with postering.
Moogie, Yes the owners are following the page.
**If anyone has any sightings at any time, please do not just leave a message on here, let the owners know ** Thanks
They are going to ring the tracker dog services to see if they can help, as George said she had thought of that this morning. They have been back to the area where she was last seen, but there have been no sightings. It is a very sheer drop at points, but we/they are praying she has gone away from the edge to chase rabbits & will be safe somewhere. - 2015-04-12 19:21 Mollychops

- HP thank you for offering to help. I think at the minute the area needs to be heavily postered so if you can help with that, that would be great. (putting posters upside down into A4 plastic wallets will help protect from the weather).

Pie was on a 10k run with owner on the coast path & ran off after rabbit/hare. She came back, but then ran off again & has not been seen since. They are down on holiday & due back tomorrow so any help would be appreciated in the area to keep a look out.
