- Report from Facebook: Please find attached details of a male, unchipped, Border Collie found in Wood Green, Wednesbury on Sunday, 12th April.
I spotted this post on Facebook in a group called, ‘Border Collie Appreciation Group’. It’s also been posted to ‘Agilitynet’ but the original poster is a ‘Roger Best’.
The original post makes no mention of the dog having been reported to the local Dog Warden or to Doglost and the poster ‘Roger Best’ is stating that he wants to keep the dog! Are you able to post details of this dog onto Doglost because if this was my dog I would be devastated especially if no-one had officially reported it and had just kept my dog! It would be nice to at least give the owner a fighting chance of being reunited with this dog.
I hope you can help. Someone on Agilitynet has tried to message ‘Roger Best’ but they’ve had no response. It doesn’t sit right with me that this dog hasn’t been reported by the finder.
