- The rescue and council issued a legal statement a while back concerning the matter and stated Lady had been legally rehomed or would otherwise have been PTS. As hard as it seems perhaps tagging and microchipping will avoid these upsetting situations in the future. This wasn't the first time Lady had gone walkabout - she had done so a few weeks before but had thankfully been safely reunited on that occasion.

- What is the latest on Lady? I have had a reply from a facebook post yesterday from a lady who more or less told me to back off as Lady had been re-homed and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Have the police given up on this or is it still ongoing?
- 2015-06-07 23:35 cs
- Whatever the legalities of it, lets just hope the people who have her now can be persuaded to let her go back home

- I thought that Lady had served her legal 7 days in the pound and thankfully a rescue stepped in and gave her a space or she would more than likely be dead now? Did the microchip fail that would have given her a chance to get back to her family as soon as she was scanned by the pound and rescue?

- This is so sad. I have shared on twitter. I really hope the new adopters do the right thing and if they are attached in a few weeks imagine how awful it is for Lady"s real family. Put Lady first and let her go home.

- Last chance have contacted the new owners who state they have fallen in love with her so will not give back.
There is an incident number and wales police are helping. Just hope the new owners spot these messages- yes they may have fallen in love but have not had her as long as the family missing her and want her back home. - 2015-05-08 11:28 Bo
- There is a very similar looking female dog just been picked up by SDK http://www.lostdogsuk.co.uk/assets/dog-reports/1431068992/30-0.LBB-070515-1534.pdf - worth a look even with the report of her being rehomed by rescue as below.

- I'm in Edenbridge, spreading the word as fast as I can. Last Chance tend to rehome locally so fingers crossed the new owners see this soon and get in touch.

We have been sharing this post on a regular basis. The owner was devastated when her dog was stolen. It has since transpired that Lady was rehomed by Last Chance Rescue in the Kent area under the name of Kiwi. If anyone has contacts in the Kent area can you please share this post. Her owner Tracy is desperate to obtain information and an update on Lady. - 2015-04-24 14:43 Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
