many thanks to everyone who has shared both Dung Dungs missing and found posts and to Spotted Ferndown who managed to get a message to the finder and get him home. Thanks of course go out to the finder too
His owner will no doubt be getting that chip checked out as it does appear there is something wrong

If the post on spotted ferndown says chipped and not working does that mean that someone could have checked the database to see if an owner listed Maybe someone there recorded details of whoever asked re the chip in the found dog.

Done me n my girl, and region changed to South West.
I've telephoned Dung Dung's owner and emailed the photo from Spotted Ferndown to him. I've suggested also he contact Emergency Vet Care in Poole who take the strays for the area.
He was out postering but is popping home now.
It is said on the finders post that he is chipped but the chip is not working.

An Anonymous post was added to Spotted Ferndowns Facebook group last night of what we Believe is Dung Dung. As yet we've been unable to establish who the finder is.
I will call Dung Dung's owner
