As the dog had been in the sea I would say that parts of him/her will now have gone. Sorry to have to put it this way. I was only down that way a week ago but I never saw anything of this poor dog. RIP now forever healed. x

I had a reply from finder via email but still didnt give location just that it was a long way from where you could park a car,she couldnt carry 20kg body that far tried coastguard but no luck and animal welfare were closed till tue. She said she would go back and collect today and take to be checked for chip, i havent heard back from her since. I have sent another email asking her to update details xx

I live in the area and it is not uncommon for dogs to fall over the cliffs (as they aren't fenced) and wash up on the beach. Wondering if this is what has happened to this poor staffie. I hope the owner is found.

I have sent the link to this page to Brighton Dogwatch in a private message. I don't know of any person who has lost such a dog in the area though. They may know different. Poor dog .. I too hope he/she has been scanned for a microchip. Has the finder let the Dog Wardens in the area know in case they have one listed? Run free little dog.
