- Star has seen the vet and although she is limping badly, there is no fracture and just a load of bruises. One very lucky dog who slept all night on the bed!! Thank you all again. xxx

- Hi - one happy relieved dog is safe, but having been hit by a car, will be seeing her vet,Dart Vale outside of which she was hit. Appears to be ok but want to check all is well. Our vets are brilliant. Thank you all soo much :-)

- Have you put a poster through the door of Dart Vale vets? If I found an injured dog, I would either phone them out of hours or take it there first thing tomorrow morning. Have you rung their number? It's 24 hours. 01803 550491. Worth a try, if not, the poster in their surgery will help get the word round locally.

- Still no sign of Star - I feel she may hole-up overnight, but I really hope she's not too badly hurt. She's such a thin, delicate Collie and is only beginning to put on weight after being rescued! People are still out looking and calling for her. We do appreciate your help so much, everybody.

- Just been looking all round Southfield Ave/Lammas Lane/Upper Preston area - no sighting. But if she has been hit, she may be laying low in a garden and someone may find her soon. I believe you are postering now - this will help, I'm sure. Keep positive!

- We will definitely be looking out for Star - we live in Preston. Mum lives in flats overlooking Preston sands, where the dog walkers go, so she'll look out for her there, too. Keep positive!
