hi, yeah i see what you mean, hard to know if the hair is also shorter than it was? i'm not used to IDing dogs though! just wanted to be able to alert the owner but i know its been a long time too :( thanks x

Jayne, thank you for your email. Hazebella has located the rescue dog's photo and we've had a good look. We have also notified the Central co-ord as we were just helping out in Admin today. Having checked both dogs we don't think this is the same one. Very similar and thank you so much for alerting us. Check the back white paws. The "socks" in the rescue are less white than Carly's. I am inclined to think the older dog would have gone whiter rather than become tan, but see what you think, I could be wrong. Check the angle of white. It is so hard sometimes to tell and colours do change. xxx

theres a dog on "paw pals rescues" on facebook that looks very similar markings to carly. very skinny and colours not as bold but if she has aged? flicking back and forward between these 2 websites I can't see any difference in markings. I think the rescue is in ireland somewhere

Also, I have checked out the Northern dog that we spoke about and it was not a Rough Collie.

Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie, milkmen, binmen (even put poster on bins), schools, deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Carly. xxx
