Update from Facebook ....... Welcome home Puppy, stay safe :)
"Claire said on the thread 'the prodigal Puppy has been found! We were waking along the public footpath at the end of Crooked lane and she just came bounding out of the ditch as if nothing had happened!! Thank you all so much for you help. Sounds like lots of folk in village were keeping eye out"

I am sorry to see that Puppy is missing, I checked earlier and I have advised people I know in that area. I have contacted owner with general advice.

Reading a thread on the Rode Village page on facebook it sounds like she's been found but await confirmation from owner I guess :-) Good news hopefully though :-)

You have probably already asked the Post Office in Rode to put a poster up for you, but if not, definitely worth doing. I haven't been to Rode for a few years, but I really hope you find her safely very soon x

Thanks for update on where she went missing. Have also shared on Lost and found dogs somerset (facebook) and Frome Dog Walkers (facebook) and @dogfriendfrome has retweeted on twitter so hope it starts to circulate on there a bit more soon.

Hi, we live on Church Lane in Rode. She was seen heading over the playing fields this morning and towards the fields in Fussell's farm. She got out yesterday and we found her in one of the fields there. I think she could be laying low in one of the fields with high crops so is hard to spot. We only moved to the village last week so she doesn't know her way around. Also she is incredibly nervous and anxious so may bark and growl if you approach her but she is completely harmless. Thanks guys, Jed.

PS Any info on where in Rode she went missing would be really helpful of course
