if only dog owners would spend £4 on a pettag and get their dogs microchipped free - so a total cost of £4 would save the dog, the owner, doglost, harveys army, and everyone else that cares so much time and work and heartache. hope when microchipping is compulsory it will end (I am wishing) all this hard work

Sad when owners cannot afford the fees to get their pets home. Thanks to everyone who has posted and offered to cover the fees, fingers crossed we see him back home soon. Shame the kennels did not take owners details.

A lot of these breed of dogs do go onto a life of working in different roles such as search and rescue and they are just so fitted to this type of work. Really hope that this young dog goes onto better things as they constantly need stimulation - I know because I've got one and she is my fourth and therefore well aware of BCs needs. Good luck lovely boy xx

Fantastic Border Collie rescues in the UK and he will be safe and under the umbrella of a rescue for life if not reunited.
