Great news. Good that they looked after him and called the number. Might have been good if they had also contacted dog warden? Still, suspect Max had a more comfy time... xx

I would just like to inform everyone that Max has been reunited and is grounded for at least a year.

I also would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who shared, posted comments and offered up information which all helped enormously in him being found.

He, for some reason decided to finish his walk early and head home. He was found on the road and picked up by a work gang who put him in the van for safety. He has been looked after since Monday while they were waiting for someone to post him as missing. They contacted me this morning and we travelled to Castleford to pick him up.

All the negative publicity that Facebook sometimes gets, it has been a godsend this week and just proves that used in a positive way can be of benefit,

Once again THANK YOU and in the nicest way, I hope I don't have to ask for your help again!

Max was picked up by a team of road workers who cared for him until they could find his owner.

Have updated the details from info on fb and added another contact number. Also done a fb share poster and shared on fb. Rooting for MAX to be back home soon.

Max went missing on a walk in the Owlthorpe Plantation nr Mosborough and Beighton, but was later spotted by a tram stop on Dunness Way. Owners doing big poster session and flyer drop. Please watch in in Bilsby, Crystal Peaks and surrounding areas.
