- Bur48 I am sorry I have taken so very long to comment on this post,in fact 8 months. My dog went missing in 2015 thats 5years ago! After 18months of searching every day, it be came very clear to me that the areas I was searching in were no longer safe.I learnt a great many things during that time none of them good.I strongly suspect,he was taken by a person not quite normal and kept hidden to this day or as he was an entire male and a very good example of his breed, spirited out of the UK by shit house rat dog thieves. Even after so long, I find it very painful to talk about, with so many mixed breeds being a trend and a very good way of making use of stolen through breed dogs, I have reservations as to wether as poodles are not a very popular breed these days that many people would know one if they saw one.In 2015 I had shared my life with this breed for 54 years having got my 1st as a child. Thank you for your comment.

Hi Jan
I am his legal and rightful owner, it has been over 2 years and nothing. I find it very very hard to talk about it or look at photo's My life changed forever that day in so many ways, none good. After 18 months of searching and postering, you tube and so many other things After an incident on a bus it became very clear to me that the area I was searching was no longer safe. so for my own well being and safty I stopped. Sadly in the last year, it has become clear I was correct. He is never far from my thoughs, and always in my heart. - 2017-07-13 07:20 Jan.Petsearchuk

- Well Sainsbury Sat not very busy due to people on holiday and loads at home getting ready for Edie and to top it off someone said its been a long time he's probably happy with some little lonely old lady! keeping tears and temper in check I came home. But I did talk to a trolley guy who asked me if I'd been to the Equestrian Centre, and I found where it was on the net and went today where I was made most welcome, took loads of flyers to give to people. came home feeling much better than sat.

- A thousand thanks to Ann for coming out with me tonight. Sadly we did not see Albie. Thereis only one way in when gates are closed and it is a small metal box type area connected to another the same,iI can't see Albie fitting through there. Also it seems sometimes gates are left open and this could explain 'sighting'. I expect dog was in park with somebody

- Gill, you and Shelagh did well with the posters. If council won't play ball, then you get garages, the shops, schools, buses, taxi drivers, pet shops, etc to put them up for you in their windows. School kids need flyers at the school gates as kids see dogs. Well done for the paper. Let us know when Albie is in it and we bump his page up so people can see immediately. I hope they mention the council.x

- Well done. Ann, thank you! I know Ron, Shelagh & Ann are now out there. Stay safe. Well done! Very upset by Newham council. Most councils are accommodating when posters are not fly posted business ones but for missing pets or people. They do, after all come down when pets are home. Do we know what dog warden for Newham council is doing to assist owner and Albie?

- Hi Kimmybearand JanW everyone I am Albies owner and you really must think it odd that until now I have'nt commented. I have been in such a state over this I did'nt realise you could. The last sighting of him was approx 5.30-5.45 on 19th. He would not easily be caught people tried, I and friends searched and my heart sank at the amount of open ground that we could not gain access to.I did receive one possible (but I feel unlikely)sighting at the white horse East Ham at about 5.45-6pm. with a woman old with grey hair holding him.this does not fit in with the time line of multiple sightings in Alps area, traffic was very slow moving that night not possible to get to white horse at that time+he would not have been sitting quietly in a strangers arms.I now fear the worst hope I fear is fading for my handsome little boy , he was a terrible mums boy.please reply.

- Have checked Beckton Alps as best I can, much is fenced off but probably accessible to a poodle, no signs. There are many warehouses in the area and I wonder if Albie could've wandered into one of these, place deserted today as were the Alps. The area is very neglected with plenty of hiding places in dense undergrowth.

- Sorry to see that ALBIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (87102)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
