Any news?
tavasz
Is there an update available on this girlie please? In particular as to whether the owner has actually been traced?
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
Thank you Harrythedog, I will bear that in mind. All enquiries can be made via West Somerset Dog Warden Service, http://www.westsomersetonline.gov.uk/Environment/Environmental-Health/Dog-Warden-Service

Really hope this girl is reunited with her owners. If it does get to the point were she will require rehoming please contact me or pass on my details to the relevant welfare society.

No news yet, the call has not been confirmed by the council so this girl may have come from further afield.

Has the owner been located for this dog?
tavasz
Is there any more news? If the owner doesn't want her perhaps Hungarian Vizsla Welfare Charity can assist.

I believe this girl has still not been collected from the holding kennel. Will update further tomorrow.

The owner has now possibly been traced for this girl so hopefully she is back home now. Page will be updated when we have confirmation from the dog warden or kennels.

Just over a year ago there was another female vizsla reported to DogLost, could it be the same one?

I am the owner of Pitleigh Kennels, and have told the finder of the Vizsla to contact the dog warden. I am the holding kennels for West Somerset Council. the dog should be brought in to me, either by the finder, or dog warden. I will check with dog warden today to see if she has been contacted by finder. there is a system for stray dogs, they have to be kept in holding kennels authorised by the council, not just held anywhere, and certainly not rehomed in case the owner turns up.

I googled 'holding kennels in Minehead' and the first result is Pitleigh Kennels so definitely worth trying there Niki or Poochpal. http://www.pitleigh-kennels.co.uk/

Hope you can locate her xx

Have checked that one and Finder has said no, I did also message owner and have had no response, finder says dog is in holding kennels for 7 days then will be rehomed. Do not know which holding kennels!! As West Somerset council have not been informed yet so maybe through another council, Contact number I believe is for finder Charley. Have been sharing and hope that owner comes forward asap Last edited: 2015-05-22 22:56:02 by Niki - Area Volunteer, Devon & Somerset

Found near Chargot woods, finder seems to think she may of been dumped and has stated that she has been checked all over for a microchip by a vet.

Which dog warden is responsible for this girl? Is this the number for the kennels where she is being held? Just asking as the dog warden for Minebea doesn't appear to have been informed. It is the law that a found dog must be reported to the dog warden in the area she was found. If taken out of that area and reported to the finder's own area it would be difficult to trace her.

we are currently sharing this girl on fb...noone has yet come forward to say they have lost her, sadly.
