- Other Info Found a small fluffy tabby cat in my garden tonight, it didn't run straight off but wouldn't let me catch it and has gone into the woods next to our house. No collar on it and doesn't belong to anyone nearby. We are in Kingerby near market Rasen, I will put some food out tonight and hopefully try to catch it, or at least take a photograph of it. Please get in touch if this is your missing cat.

- Please remember volunteers don't always represent the views of the organization they are helping...glad the cat is being looked after by you.

- Yes I was rather discussed by her reaction, she hadnt even asked anything about his temperament etc and I had only taken him in the night before! she was just convinced he should be PTS! Janiejewel - that cannot be him as this boy is entire. I really hope someone comes forward for him, he is on all websites I can think of, fb and all the vets in a 20 mile radius have had a call to put him on there found list. however if no one gets in touch by next week we will have him castrated and vaccinated and hopefully try and integrate him with our cat & dog, he's a really lovely boy so hopefully it won't be too much of a problem. And if he can't adjust to being an indoor/outdoor cat we live on a farm so there's plenty of outbuildings/stables he can make a home in :) Last edited: 2015-06-02 12:18:53 by Yasmin

- Millys Mum. I secomd all you say. this erson is an absolute disgrace to Cat protection, and to all the volunteers who work so hard to rehome cats.

- PTS!!! That's absolutely disgusting. What a dreadful thing to say - shame on that person who represents the CPL. She ought to be reported to CPL's HQ. Of course with SO MANY people having supermarket home deliveries these days it's now even more likely that this lovely tabby boy has come from outside the area but to suggest putting him to sleep i.e. KILLING HIM is just vile. Yasmin - thank goodness you have a heart otherwise, if this was the approach, all stray animals would be doomed. Thank you for caring for this lovely boy and I'm hoping that someone is prepared to take him in or (if he prefers living outside) that a shelter could be provided for him as well as a couple of decent meals each day plus fresh water. Yasmin - thank you for being so kind and caring.Last edited: 2015-06-01 20:15:23 by Millys Mum

- am suprized at Cat protection as they dont tednd to put healthy cats to sleep. I think it depends on whom you talk to on the end of the phone. I have always found them helpful. sure tbhis cat will find a new home soon. Sounds as though not neutered. Could it be a feral cat?Last edited: 2015-06-01 16:13:53

- This boy unfortunately is not chipped, no luck tracing any owners for him so far either. I think he has been outside fending for himself for some time due to having lots of scratches/scabs probably from fighting. Cat protection were unfortunately no use at all and advised he was PTS as she was convinced no one would come forward for him! Not a chance that's going to happen!

- All crossed he's chipped - if he's ok with being stroked he's definitely not feral. Good luck - I hope you trace his home soon. x

- Yes me too, although there are no unspayed females around here.. Is there a mod that can help me with uploading a picture as I can't seem to do so. I have put him in an x l dog crate for the night as I have a cat and a baby wood pidgeon I am nursing!

- Hope vet recognises him (if not chipped) so he can be re-united with his family
Toms can roam quite a long way when on the hunt for a female - 2015-05-30 22:34 Yasmin
- Will take to rase vets in the morning and scan for microchip.

- I have now caught the car with some food incentive, it is a male Tom cat, not very happy about being caught and is now safe with food and water. Possibly ferrel?? Not used to being indoors but okay with being stroked. Have picture but can't update.
