- I am pleased to say that after a lot of to-ing & fro-ing between dog warden etc this dog is now reunited.
It was firstly listed as a Lab cross, when it quite clearly looks more like a collie cross. Then owners were told it may not be theirs as the found one was a female & not a male (as listed), this turned out to be incorrect. Then there was the date difference, the losers said they lost it on 31/5 & were adamant, but warden said picked it up on 30/5!!! All in all a real mix up. Dog was kept in kennels an extra day, as by the time it was sorted out, the dog warden had gone of duty & dog couldn't be returned until today. ( I did suggest they contact head of env services to 'discuss' payment.) Thankfully dog now home.

- I think this is a dog that has been posted onto local fb page called Scooby. I have informed his owner Ben Niles. Awaiting confirmation.
