- I really want to thank the kind gentleman who was able to catch her. Ive been to see her this morning .She was not happy but since heard ,at lunchtime, she is coming out of her shell. Dogs that are out for a length of time quickly go feral, survival kicks in . Im sure she will make progress daily !

- We believe having seen her operate and how she lay down next to us yesterday she actually wants to be caught but is scared to allow herself to be if that makes sense, the fact she is around all day where people and dogs are, and isn't hiding up at all , I think she is quite bold , studying her stance, and the way she trots off around the fiels like she on a mission. She is looking well, probably eating rabbits, and isn't at all ravenous when I gave her pilchards. She is more keen to find water at the moment, and Jenners has left a bowl of water in Barn way next to the one remaining puddle she has been sighted drinking from. I just want to thenk people again who have been texting and calling with sightings, Its so important. We can get a clearer picture of her movement. We have great support from Dick on the Bathurst Estate, he was helping us most of yesterday morning

- Thanks Gino. I had a phone call around 11 pm last night to say the dog was sighted back on Chesterton Lane . A lady rang me 6 ish sighted in Springfield/Bowly road in Chesterton then, half an hour later a call to say she was back in Barn Way Stratton.

- Bach Rescue Remedy, 3 drops on food will relax her and possibly take fear of you away.

- The Spaniel is home now, we saw the lurcher many times and were able to get very close, but unable to catch her. Hoping if we go there often enough she will eventually trust us and allow us to catch her. Many thanks to the kind people who have phoned in with sightings. Please keep them coming in !

- Hi Harriet please can you ring me on the number above
- 2015-06-04 01:41 harrietevanss
- I first saw her about 3/4 weeks ago near south cerney outside the gypsy camp, since then have been in touch with RSPCA and council and neither will help unless she is caught. I have spoken to the gypsies on camp and found out she is sleeping in a empty kennel, they have tried getting her and can't, she definitely does not belong to them. I have since seen her in Chesterton cemetery (a week ago) and been so close to catching her as she has eaten out my hand a couple of times but just to quick to catch, she has since been back to the gypsy camp to sleep, she enters the camp through the same hole in a fence if this is any help for a place to set a trap? So desperate for her to be safe! Last edited: 2015-06-04 13:30:48 by harrietevanss

- Good work Mollychops. I have let Lady Bathurst know so the Estate are now keeping an eye out. Fingers crossed she gives up running soon.

- Ive just been sitting a metre away from her, and gradually inching backwards throwing food behind me, but although she stayed around, she wasn't hungry. Lots of sightings in Barn way at the entrance to the park, a lady told me she had been in her garden and they fed her cat food, but when they tried grabbing her she crashed over a fence and escaped. I will get a feeding place set up in a friends garden there, and hopefully we will be able to set a trap if she starts coming regularly.

- Hello, Yes I was the one who spotted her, she was running down from the Gloucester Road, just entered the Daglingworth Road, she ran out in the road towards my car, so I stopped and got out and crouched down, didn't say anything but she took off, crossing behind the car towards the car park bit of the graveyard, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything more, she was so flighty. We walk there every morning with our dogs so will keep a look out and put some food down, it's such a fast lane.Last edited: 2015-06-03 11:23:18 by Pipski Maripski

- 8am today wednesday 3rd June. Running down from the Gloucester Road in Cirencester toward Daglingworth on the Overlay Road (daglingworth Road), spotted by Stratton Church graveyard
Copied from a new page by spotter this morning. Once we can establish her movements we can set up a feeding station

- Thanks Stephy. My fab friend DL helper Jenners is coming over today and she will set a trap. She is so experienced in trapping and hopefully this poor girl will be caught. Its so horrible at them moment I just hope she is hiding somewhere warm. We have full backing from the Cotswold district Council on this and we met with a lovely representative from Enviromental Services yesterday, who was so helpful, and just want to say a huge thankyou Sue P !Last edited: 2015-06-02 08:10:49 by Mollychops
