  • Other Info A lady whose daughter had taken LB called her owner as a result of seeing the post on here and possibly on Brighton Dogwatch Facebook group, too. LB had been taken to another home and the young girl had told her mum she was keeping her and that she'd followed her home. (According to her mum, the girl has brought home a few dogs with the same story!). Thank you so much to everyone at your organisation. Between you and Facebook, this reunion was possible and you have restored a lot of faith in LB's

mandy174: We are really pleased that you gave us the information that enabled LB's reunion. It really was down to you that LB was returned to her very relieved and happy owner. Thank you so much! (Sorry I did not say this in my last comment)
As requested by Jayne this is the link to the Brighton Dogwatch page on Fbk:
https://www.facebook.com/brightondogwatch?fref=ts They are a great page to be on if you are in the Brighton or surrounding area and always help Doglost as much as they can.

I should say that it does quite often happen that people who find dogs do not know that they need to report to the Dog Wardens so they probably meant well and at least LB was safe.

Awww! So very happy for your brother that he has got his dear companion back safely. What a shame the person who found her did not report doing so to the Dog Wardens (which is the law) LB could have been home so much quicker.

(I will let the Brighton DW's know that LB is back with her owner)
Well done for registering LB on Doglost and for all your work .. it's really paid off.

Ros Parker: You are very kind and we are only too happy to help. That's why we all volunteer and happy endings like this make all the difference :) :)

Dear All!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help in sharing this! LB has been reunited with her owner! Words cannot express how grateful I am - this would never have happened without you. Special thanks to Megan Clarkey Clarke for your fantastic support. This has made an enormous difference to the life of my brother who has been beside himself with sadness since her loss!! THANK YOU AGAIN!! xx

Oh goodness .. mandy174. It would be brilliant if it is LB that they have. Thanks for your information. Fingers crossed that it is him in safe hands .. Got everything crossed for a happy ending.
(Regarding the deceased dog found in Wild Park .. I have spoken to the Brighton Dog Wardens and they do not believe it is LB. They also said that they know LB having met her previously. I have to say that I am very relieved) Last edited: 2015-06-03 13:56:47 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Oh dear. Sorry to see LB has been missing for a week now. I have asked Brighton Dogwatch to add her to their page. Shared to Doglost South East, DL East Sussex pages.
Ros Parker: I will send our Doglost advice to you .. would suggest lots and lots of posters.
If anyone has seen LB then they will be able to contact you to say where.
Hopefully you have already informed the Dog Wardens, vets and rescue centres in case she is handed in to them.

could she be down a hole? The area is riddled with rabbits etc... Can't quite make out how large she is in the photo.
