- The trouble with these trains is that you rarely know tracks are accessible because, as has been said, there are hedges. This is what happened to me. You presume a track in public fields would be fenced properly. It sunthinkable that it is not the case. You can't see because of the foliage. It's a very real problem. And vey sad. We just have to keep getting word out that tracks really may not be fenced off, so always double check and request this from the authorities. http://www.change.org/petitions/national-campaign-for-cassie-s-law

- Tragic. Damned railways. I am so very sorry and my thoughts are with the family at this sad time. Gone too soon, but run free at the bridge, beautiful Mutley. Lots of rabbits there to chase xxx

- So sorry to find him here in the blue under such sad circumstances.
Ironic that when walking the line yesterday I discovered new fencing for some distance from the new estate. Further away it was the old decrepit non existent fence and thick hedge - no match for a determined hunter. At least he was doing something he enjoyed! - 2015-06-10 09:44 sianie8428

- I am a voluntary dog walker, but tend too keep away from trains if I can help it. Easy to say I know, but it is not worth the risk.--

- Sad news. I have been advised that Mutley has gone to heaven. I do not know the details yet, can only guess at this point. We will wait for owner, Debs or our two helpers CopperM & Janet to let us know. So vey sad. No matter how many times we hear it, it always breaks my heart. Now safe in the arms of God until you meet again. And you will. God bless you sweetest Mutley and your loving family, always. x

- Muttley is still missing.. Left a message at the house with a few more suggestions.. Walked next to the railway line, calling his name but it's impossible to search properly due to dense thickets. Ideal rabbit hunting ground, unfortunately.
Spoke to several dog walkers while en route, of whom two already knew. Asked them to spread the word. Railtrack needs to be approached daily.... 😞 - 2015-06-09 08:21 Fiona

- Thanks CopperM. J has has also been in touch with me. This dog may well be down a rabbit hole, or owner needs to check in with the place where she found her other dog in the past. And also the track, yes. Something has stopped this dog getting back, we need to find out exactly what. Please make this baby famous - loads of posters! x

- Dog warden and Acresway kennels have been informed. Mutley was on a walk but is know for his love of hunting so not unusual for him to run off, he was with his brother who returned but Mutley didn't. Owner has contacted rail staff and has also walked the rail track herself looking
