- Thanks for your amazing help and support everyone. We were searching the area again today and asking anyone we met to look out for Ozzy. Some snorkellers spotted him stuck half way up a cliff and rescued him! He is uninjured, just thin, tired, thirsty and hungry 😊

- So pleased to see Ozzy has been found safely - don't feel so guilty now that I wasn't able to help even though I was in the area tracking Tess. So we just need Tess home now.

- You could try a BBQ with some smellin sausages or fish around dusk this evening. Take a ball with you to use as something playful if you see him. Remember to get down low until he recognises you. Good luck...hoping to see you've found him soon :)

- Thanks everyone. Out looking again today, brought food and smelly stuff to try and lure him in... talking to lots of walkers, farmers, fishermen.. Nothing so far. Thanks 2Ds will check that. Boldy

- Sounds promising. Spreading the word on Facebook and twitter. Let us know when you have a Facebook page for him and we'll get everyone to follow his page. Are you able to stay up there for a few days? Can the people at the NT shop help at all?

- Have bumped his page due to sighting. amyone in area please?
- 2015-06-14 16:53 Boldy
- Just got a call from the NT shop at bedruthan steps. A dog fitting Ozzy's description has been seen on his own heading towards Park Head. If you are in the area please look out for him. Please note he is scared of other dogs (he's a rescue) so will be difficult to get hold of if people approach him with a dog of their own. Will get there as soon as we can. Thanks

- Hi Moogie, thanks. Yes I'm on Facebook and have been spreading the word about Oz. Lots of shares. Twitter also. Facebook page for Ozzy sounds like a good idea. Can photos be posted to this page? Boldy

- Hi Boldy, it was a photo of a loose dog in someones garden but didn't think it was Ozzy but always like to double check first.
Are you on Facebook? It helps spread the word by setting up a Facebook page for Ozzy....most people are on Facebook and you'll get lots of support etc - 2015-06-13 19:57 Boldy
- hi Moogie, thanks for your efforts but I think you're mixing up Ozzy with another dog! I haven't received any photos and no one has yet contacted me re seeing Ozzy. Boldy (Ozzy's owner)

- It maybe an idea to get an article in the local papers telling your story. You could combine the article with Tess' & Pie's owners to make more impact (also lost recently on holiday in Padstow and Bude areas). We will continue to look for Ozzy until he's found.
Do you have insurance? Would it cover posters etc? Worth looking into...Last edited: 2015-06-13 14:43:24 by Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall - 2015-06-12 16:07 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Some nice RNLI lifeguards are working in area & will buzz along on their jet-skis to take a look along the cliff face/waters edge etc :)
Owner out putting up loads of posters - 2015-06-12 15:42 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Have asked coastguard if they can help, but sadly they can't turn out, but if they get called out to area or are training, they will keep a look out. ( Have informed Ozzys owner)

- Knowing the coastal path a bit, I would ask searchers to check all burrows, dens, nooks and crannies especially near freshwater streams. It is a playground for terriers.

- Yes owner has contacted me but I have got my hands full with Tess at the moment. I have given a few things to do but it all depends how we get on tomorrow with Tess.

- Have spoken to owner, they were out on a walk with Ozzy when he ran off along the path & went through a gap in a wall. By the time they got there he had disappeared. There was a lot of undergrowth on one side of the path & the other side leads towards the cliff edge. The family are on holiday & live in Kent & tomorrow are heading for Dorset. I have advised to get loads of posters printed & am emailing scenting advice.
Have already suggested they take scenting items & leave them up there before dark & also try to take some smelly food too.
The dog warden is aware. Have suggested they perhaps contact Jenny & Tiga while she is still in area. - 2015-06-11 18:10 Gino
