- Such a lovely update especially in view of storms gathering pace. Border Collies are very noise sensitive and it is said will pick up noises 12 miles away, thats what makes them good at finding sheep in snowdrifts and of course search and rescue work. Stay safe and close xxLast edited: 2015-06-12 19:22:16 by ClaireC

Now to find the elusive Misty x - 2015-06-12 17:12 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- I was about to go out to Pett and help search when I had a tel call saying Lily has been found!
So pleased for her owner and family who have gone above and beyond to find her.
She was in a field where someone was muckspreading and they found her curled up under a hedge. She must have been exhausted after wandering around last night and was probably finding it warm today as it's very close with the expected thunder storms due. The lovely people who found her took her home to Icklesham and contacted her mum who has now got her safe again and is on way home taking down posters as she goes!
Very, very well done to you .. and hope to see a reunited photo if possible!! - 2015-06-12 13:54 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks Springermad, Lesley and TK.
I want to go and help but can't right now.
Someone says a Collie was found up on the Firehills but we have no idea who .. post was on Fbk but I can't find it. Hoping, if it's true that they have handed the dog to the Dog Wardens as they are aware of Lily.

- Have shared on fb, poor Lily must be so scared from these bird scarers, praying she will be found safe very soon x
- 2015-06-12 12:17 Lesley
- The banging is bird scarers and is still happening.
I am heading out to Pett later and will have a look around.
Shared on facebook as well.

- Admin: Lily's owner is having problems logging in to Doglost so I have asked her to contact you to help her reset the password (which it will not recognise)
Springermad: Lily was seen in a villager's garden in Pannel Lane last evening as The Royal Oak have been letting everyone know that she is missing they were able to ring her owners. They searched the garden and Lane but were not able to find her. However, as we were hearing the loud banging sounds when we were in Three Oaks around that time maybe she hid again.
Thankfully it all seems quiet today and Lily should be able to find her way home.
Her owner is printing posters and will go out and search again.
I have advised that she leaves Lily's bed/bedding outside her home so that she has something familiar to settle down in when she goes home.
Her owners are doing absolutely everything right. Well done.

- Goddard: Thanks for adding the photo. Glad I was able to speak to you earlier.
Lily went missing this morning from her home near the Royal Oak, Pett after being scared by bangs. I was in Three Oaks this evening and heard more of them so I'm hoping they will stop and that Lily will make her way home later this evening.
I will send our Doglost advice email to you and I am sure you will make sure that Lily has a way of getting back into your garden. Hopefully she will come home when it has all gone quiet again.
Best of luck. - 2015-06-11 22:42 shelleyD
- Sorry, I'm away until Sunday so can't help look for Lily myself but I belong to few local groups which I am going to share her details with however, I'm confused as to exactly where she went missing from, last post doesn't really make sense. Was it Pett village, Pett beach, Pett Level?? X
